GARDEN CITY STUDENT VOLUNTEER APPLICATION SUMMER 2019                                                                Entering Grades 7 & Up
Please complete all items by May 31, 2019. Late or incomplete applications may not be processed.

Please sign up for a week in which you can commit for the full week Monday to Friday 8:45-12:00 noon daily. We are asking for a full one week commitment from our student volunteers.

Please register for a one week volunteer session. You may register by week. Please pick one week that is your first, second and third choices for volunteering this summer. Weeks available are July 8-12, July 15-19, July 22-26 and July 29-August 2.

The program will take place at Garden City Middle School.

Volunteer hours are Monday - Friday,  8:45am-12:00pm

Applications will be accepted according to the order of their receipt. You must have completed Grade 6 or beyond by June 30,  2019 in order to be considered.

All grade levels, areas and sessions must be covered. Please remember that you are volunteering to help us have a successful program.  We will place you in an area where we will need your assistance.  Confirmation of assignment will be sent out prior to the start of the program.

Please note:  The number of volunteers needed depends on the overall program enrollment.  Thus the number of volunteers has a limit.  We accept applications in the order they are received.  A letter of recommendation, listing the number of hours volunteered, will be sent to your school for placement into your file.
