Vendors must be related to our homesteading and self-reliant theme. We are looking for businesses and organizations that pertain to farming, gardening, food preservation, sustainable agriculture, herbs, small scale or pastured poultry and livestock,alternative/renewable energy, healthy living, composting, homeschooling, farm structures, log homes, farm equipment, book and magazine sellers, farm decor and people who want to promote their farm and farm products. We will not duplicate home based MLM type businesses. First Come/First Paid. Some other types of businesses will be limited, again, first come/first paid.
Vendors participating will be announced on our Facebook page and related pages in the weeks before the event, as well as on the website.
Event will be held at the Newton County Fairgrounds, (Roy Jean Carter Memorial Fairgrounds) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Indoor buildings has electric available and air conditioning, indoor restrooms, and Wifi. The outside area has some shade and pavilions including livestock pens for livestock exhibitors. The fairgrounds is located just 20 miles south of Joplin, and south of Hwys 60 and Business 59 in Neosho, Missouri just east of Hwy. 59 near the entrance to Crowder College.

bit.ly/expomediainfoVendors: This is an inaugural event and although we can't quote attendance we are very optimistic. We already have thousands of engagements and inquiries about the event through the website and Facebook pages. We are marketing this event heavy throughout Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas. We are also partnering with Crowder College's Alternative Energy program and have backing from Baker Creek Seeds (
www.rareseeds.com) who will be giving away a couple thousand packets of seed to attendees. Mother Earth News will also have a bookstore at this event. Tatum Motors will be featuring their farm and lawn equipment. Sprout Faster grows worm castings for the best results for your garden. Beeman Hollow Farm is a local farm/homestead, see their Facebook page. Admission to the event will be $5. for adults and free admission for ages 16 and under. Vendors will need to be set up both days unless have a previous arrangement as a presenter/ workshop schedule.
Vendors can set up on Thursday, September 5 beginning at noon.
RV spots with electric only are available at the fairgrounds for vendors for $50. There are showers and restrooms that are open all night near the horse barns. Tent camping is also available, there is a $10 fee to camp.
Vendors should obtain and keep in force from set-up to completion of event commercial general liability insurance. Exhibitor shall provide a certificate of insurance to Ozarks Homesteading, LLC evidencing coverage . Exhibitor should name OH, LLC as additional insured. Hold Harmless / Indemnification. Vendor shall be soley responsible for any and all injuries. Vendor/ Exhibitor shall Indemnify, Safe and Hold Harmless to persons or damage of Property or any other injury, claim, damage or loss of whatever nature, arising directly or indirectly from their operation.

Indigo Sky Casino and resort is 20 minutes west on Hwy. 60, the have over 300 rooms.
