Taste of the North End

Mark your calendars! Now in its 26th year, the Taste of the North End will return on Friday, April 26!

A food festival that draws 1,000 attendees each year to celebrate the neighborhood’s rich culture and feast on world famous Italian cuisine – all generously donated by participating restaurants – our mission is to raise awareness and funds for a critical community need that is often overlooked in the North End. Money raised supports our struggling friends and neighbors through funding many of the North End Waterfront Health Center’s medical and social service programs, as well as other local organizations such as the Eliot School, St. John School, Harvard-Kent School, North End Against Drugs, North End Athletic Association, and North End Music and Performing Arts Center.

Radio personality and NESN’s Dining Playbook host Billy Costa will once again serve as the event’s emcee and this year’s 2019 Restauranteur Award will be presented to longtime ToTNE supporters, the Picariello Family, owners of Hanover Street’s iconic bakery, Modern Pastry.
