ID POP SHOP

New York City’s popular pop-up destination ID POP SHOP is planting temporary roots in Boston and will sell unique items from 16 Boston and New York City-based independent designers for one weekend only. The pop-up will take place from July 29 to July 31 on Newbury Street.

Support local designers and find carefully curated style-defining jewelry, men’s and women’s apparel, beauty products, home goods and unique finds from brands such as Sasha Walsh Designs, Malaya Organics, Charged Glassworks, Little Moony, Joyo, Margo Petitti and more.

ID POP SHOP, which boasts more than 50 pop-ups to date, was founded by Barbara Wilkinson of Barbara Wilkinson Jewelry and Raoul Calleja of Vernakular Photo Designs in June 2011 as a result of a cancellation of another event in which they planned to participate. This resulted in Wilkinson and Calleja assembling their unique network of local independent designers who had been struggling to find a good venue to present their products. The overwhelming success of this accidental event paved the way for more than 50 more shows at Chelsea Market in New York over the next 4 years providing an excellent platform for independent designers to showcase and sell their products. ID Pop Shop has provided a springboard for many NYC-based independent brands to grow and succeed in today's crowded retail marketplace.
