ATHENS, W.Va. – After profiling Lindsay Lannen on Wednesday, today Concord University volleyball recruiting profile is defensive specialist Erin Shannon.

High School: Lincoln-Way East
Shannon was a member of the conference and sectional champion volleyball team. She has maintained a GPA of 3.5 or better each semester of her high school career. Shannon is in the National Honor Society at Lincoln-Way East and also letters in tennis.
Shannon's 17U Ultimate team attended the AAU national Tournament in Florida this past June and finished in fifth in the premier division.
Not only has Shannon been a standout on the court indoors, but has also had success in beach volleyball. As a member of the 18U women's division Shannon and her partner had back-to-back success in their beach seasons. In 2013 they finished first place in one Extreme Volleyball Professionals (EVP) tournament as well as placing second in three other events they entered in. In 2014 the duo was back at it again winning the EVP Opener as well as the EVP Series tournament. They also had a second place finish in the EVP Firecracker.Â

Shannon's Ultimate Volleyball Club teammate, Lindsay Lannen, has also signed with Concord as a member of the 2015 class.
