TechHive has a rather interesting article up right now detailing the hidden arcade history of Atari. As you know, Atari played a huge role in the early ’70s and ’80s with not only developing games, but the whole look and feel of how those games should be played in the arcades. TechHive’s article is basically a little preview for an upcoming exhibition that will be featured at the National Museum of Play in Rochester, NY entitled, “Atari by Design: From Concept to Creation.” If you’re a fan of gaming and the history behind it, you’ll want to check out both the article and the exhibition later this month.
