Probably the most dreamed about and romanticised part of Britain - made famous through the writing of Daphne de Maurier with such great works as Rebecca and Jamaica Inn. We’re off to explore this magical county and also to visit Fowey - where she chose to live and found inspiration for her novels.
Cornwall’s unique history, rugged beauty and deep blue ocean vistas await us. With almost a third of Cornwall designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we’re be spoiled for choice when it comes to spectacular views and untouched nature and we’ve lined up some great hikes. Our first one is along a stunning stretch of Cornish coastline with quaint "frozen in time" fishing villages, towering cliffs and dreamy sandy beaches. The second day is an exploration of Fowey and the surroundings - ride the ferry (twice) to discover brilliant views towards Fowey Harbour and the estuary and hike through the woods around the medieval Pont Pill. Join us in a truly spectacular weekend trip exploring some of Cornwall’s best features.
We shall also visit the World famous Eden project which has been voted by the British Travel Awards as the "Best UK Leisure Attraction" for 5 years in a row. It is a global collection of plants inside 2 vast atmospheric biomes that nestle in a crater the size of 30 football pitches. It contains the worlds largest indoor rainforest with waterfalls and steamy jungles with a new canopy so you can also walk above the treetops.

• Explore a spectacular stretch of South Cornwall coastline
• Follow the South West Coast Path and discover amazing coastal views and quaint fishing villages
• Cross the river with a ferry to discover stunning views towards river Fowey and the exceptional Fowey area

• Visiting the Eden Project (optional extra) - the world's largest indoor rain forestWEEKEND DESCRIPTION
Cornwall is absolutely unique. Surrounded on three sides by the wild Atlantic ocean, it is almost like a geographic island. It has its own Celtic heritage and its own language - Kernowek, which is spoken by about 2000 people. 27% of the county is proclaimed an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty made up of 12 separate geological areas and covering 958 sq km. Cornwall contains some of Britain’s finest coastal scenery and is a must see world class destination.
For accommodation, we're exclusively renting a secluded hostel just for our group in the picturesque hamlet of Boswinger in the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage we’re staying in is off the beaten track, surrounded by lush green countryside and in walking distance from several beaches. An idyllic setting for our adventure.
