3 Tools To Personalize Your Scheduling & Let Clients Book With You Online

No matter what you specialize in as a business owner, meetings play a large part of your day to day work. Some people may have more meetings than others, particularly for things like consultations or potential new clients. When you’re busying away with your day to day tasks from meeting to meeting and call to call, it isn’t always easy to get to your emails in a timely fashion, despite you knowing that many of them may contain potential opportunities and meeting requests.

There is a solution, though. Several apps and websites now exist that allow you to display your availability in a calendar form on your website, allowing people to book in a time slot with you. Not only is it a timesaver, it is a great way of keeping your calendar organized as it does the work for you in the background. Take a look at three of our current favorites.

YouCanBookMe

YouCanBook.Me is an incredibly innovative booking software tool. It integrates with your Google Calendar and creates a personalized scheduling page which goes on to your website. Anyone wanting to book with you can view your availability on any device – whether a tablet, computer or phone – and the bookings are added directly to your Google Calendar.

Simple and easy to use, you can relax in the knowledge that your work schedule is being filled when you’re available and come back at the end of the day to find it has automatically been added to your calendar. Ideal for every type of business owner, it can also be used in locations like college and university settings when certain equipment requires a booking before use.

The calendar can be configured to match your brand, and a form builder allows you to customize it to ask whatever questions you need. Time zones are detected automatically and everything is password protected. When you receive a new booking, you can set up text messages to be sent to your phone with a notification. Minimum notices can be added, as well as cancellations and rescheduling, and many other very valuable features.

Prices start at free for solo use, and then they offer various different packages based on what your needs are, up to $144 a month for Enterprise level.

ScheduleOnce – MeetMe

MeetMe – part of the ScheduleOnce group – allows people to make a booking for your time, and their chosen time is automatically added to a calendar that you choose. This is a great feature if you work with various different platforms, such as Outlook, Google and Apple. If you use any other calendar software, it uses Google Calendar as a bridge to support your chosen platform.

Offering multiple meeting types and services, you can accept bookings for yourself or for your team members, as well as the functionality to add multiple locations too, either online or somewhere near to you if you offer physical location meetings. You can also accept bookings for rooms and resources, ideal if you rent out particular areas in your building.

When booking a time slot, you are notified of a booking and customers receive confirmation too. Initially offering a 14 day free trial with no card required, sign up is quick and easy. Plans then start from $5 a month per user for 1 booking page.

NeedToMeet

Created to get around the ‘headache of incessant emails’ when organizing meetings and events, NeedToMeet is ideal if you regularly collaborate or work with large teams often and need to organize meeting times when everyone is available.

Your available times and dates are displayed on your interface and with a few details added, you simply send invitations via email to attendees. This makes this option for meeting scheduling more useful if you have a meeting in mind with specific people, or if you have been discussing a potential meeting with a client and they’ve asked for your availability. They can then choose a slot that works for them and confirm the booking time.

Completely free to use, the visual calendar interface is highly useful for collaboration, and meetings can easily be edited. Meetings can be synced via your own personal calendar. Available via all smartphones and tablets, and on your computer.
