Man Kidnapped from Mead Valley, Found Deceased in Homeland Field

A male resident of Mead Valley was kidnapped and found deceased in a field in the Homeland area west of Hemet, and detectives Monday were seeking more info, a sheriff's sergeant said.

Deputies were called out about 5:20 p.m. Friday Nov. 8 to the area of Juniper Flats Road and Falcon View regarding a dead body at the location, Sgt Jeff Buompensiero of the Hemet Station said in a statement.

"Upon arrival deputies located a deceased Hispanic male adult," Buompensiero said. "The male victim had sustained traumatic injuries that caused his death."

Detectives from the Hemet Station and the Central Homicide Unit responded to the location and assumed the investigation, Buompensiero said.

"The investigation revealed the male victim had been kidnapped from his residence located in the 20800 block of Orange Avenue in Mead Valley on or about November 7th," Buompensiero said.

No suspects had been arrested as of Monday according to the Sheriff's Department..
