A Paypal account has been set up for the purpose of collecting donations for Thai/Arelas' widow and children. The email address to send payments as well as any correspondence/questions/etc. to is rip*thai*arelas[nospam-﹫-backwards]liamg*com.

A bank account at Wells Fargo has also been set up. The account number is 5560666553. It's under my name - Rebecca Zaugg. Arrangements will be made to send all funds donated directly to Thai's widow as often as necessary.

The Paypal account isn't yet verified but will be within a few days. If you are unable or unwilling to use paypal but would still like to donate via bank deposit or wire transfer, please contact me directly.

I'm an accountant by schooling and take fiduciary responsibility very seriously. Deepapathy and Chantel have been given the usernames and passwords associated with the email, paypal and bank accounts dedicated to this purpose and will be my checks and balances during this process. I've asked one other TFette I know and trust to be a fourth set of eyes and will give her all associated information once she agrees.

If you have any questions, concerns, whatever, please contact me using any current information you have or through rip*thai*arelas[nospam-﹫-backwards]liamg*com.

Is it really smart to put bank account numbers in a public thread?

This is kinda what I was thinking, Bixia. I mean, I know no good deed goes unpunished and all, but f*ck it. At the moment I'm more concerned with doing something than worrying about it, y'know?

Hon, your last name. Not the account number. But if you're not worried about it, then I agree, fark it. At this point in life, whose info isn't available on the internet anymore.

Thanks for this, guys.

If someone steals from me, they must need it more than I do, so whatever. Besides, I don't have anything worth taking, money or otherwise. I'm watching these paypal and bank accounts with a hawk eye, and will do everything I can to ensure their safety.

Is it safe to say you'll be very anal when it comes to making sure all the money goes to his widow?

Then I think I figured it out, WE are all one big dysfunctional family. We call each other names and get in our little fights but when the chips are down, we have each other's backs.

That quote on his profile nicely sums it up.

It also increases the tragedy of never having had the chance to meet him.

There is a certain sad irony in him having that particular quote in his profile.

I just looked at his bio - he was a hottie and definitely a part of the community here. My condolences to all of you farkers who knew him and enjoyed his presence here.

\suddenly dusty in here

Had the same problem with Paypal as Mosten. Typed it in by hand, even. Wondering if there's something I've missed?

Didn't know Arelas, but read his profile. Sounds like a great guy, and my sympathies to his family and those Farkers who had the pleasure of knowing him.

I am so saddened to hear this. Arelas was one heck of a nice guy.*heavy sigh*

Thanks for the info frickensweet.
