INVESTIGATORS SAY THESE 70 PUPPIES AND KITTENS WERE LIVING IN DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS. KMBC 9'S DIANE CHO IS LIVE WITH HOW THINGS WENT WRONG, AT AN ORGANIZATION TRYING TO HELP. THE ANIMALS ARE NOW BEING HOUSED AT THE K-C PET PROJECT - BUT CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT THEY WERE ALREADY FULL - THEY SAY FINDING SPACE FOR ALL THESE ANIMALS WASN'T EASY. WE'RE TOLD THE ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD AND IT'S NOT CLEAR WHEN THEY WILL BE CLEARED AND READY TO ADOPT. THE FOLKS AT THE SHELTER TELL US THEY STILL NEED TO MAKE ROOM
