Weekend Playlist: The Best and Brightest of 2014, According to The A.V. Club

There are all sorts of "Best Of" lists flying around the Internet these days as the year draws to a close. Best music, best movies, best TV—it's all incredibly overwhelming. (Not to mention unnecessary.) That said, we recognize a good list when we see one. For this weekend's playlist, we thought we'd compile tracks and give a shout out to our local friends at the same time. Our playlist features artists who made it to Chicago-based A.V. Club.'s "20 Best Albums of 2014". Flying Lotus and Mac DeMarco: together at last. Who was number one? Why, a former Chicagoan, of course.
