Former men's soccer standout Samuel Thomas hired as interim head coach at Eastern Oregon University

Former Principia College men's soccer player, Samuel Thomas, has been hired as the interim women's soccer coach at Eastern Oregon University starting this fall.

Here at Principia College, Thomas was a standout goalkeeper, starting for all for years and helping his team achieve the highest national ranking they have ever had (8th in 2009).  Thomas was also selected to the SLIAC All Conference team each of his four years, and was also voted to be the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Year after his junior season.  Thomas currently holds the school record in three categories:  most career wins, most career ties and most saves in one game.
