Victoria Pinder grew up in Irish Catholic Boston before moving to the Miami sun. She’s worked in engineering, after passing many tests proving how easy Math came to her. Then hating her life at the age of twenty four, she decided to go to law school. Four years later, after passing the bar and practicing very little, she realized that she hates the practice of law. She refused to one day turn 50 and realize she had nothing but her career and hours at a desk. After realizing she needed change, she became a high school teacher. Teaching is rewarding, but writing is a passion.
During all this time, she always wrote stories to entertain herself or calm down. Her parents are practical minded people demanding a job, and Victoria spent too many years living other people’s dreams, but when she sat down to see what skill she had that matched what she enjoyed doing, writing became so obvious. The middle school year book when someone wrote in it that one day she’d be a writer made sense when she turned thirty.
Besides her full time job of teaching, in 2013 and 2014, she sold on her own sold books to three different publishers. The Zoastra Affair, Chaperoning Paris, Borrowing the Doctor, and Electing Love will be published from Soul mate Publishing. Mything the Throne will be published with Double Dragon Ebooks. Favorite Coffee, Favorite Crush will be published with Jupiter Press.
Now she is represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency and she hopes to continue selling her novels that she writes. Moving up to the next level from hard work and determination is rewarding, and partnerships bring new opportunities.
Also she’s the Vice President of Progams for the Florida Romance Writers. She’s gone to multiple conferences and intends to continue. She learns and meets so many people at conferences. Her website is here, www.victoriapinder.com, and she’ll continue to grow my web presence. She is working hard on other projects and found the time to plan her wedding this year.
Before writing, her father had taken her to many star trek conventions and on her own she grew up as the only girl in the 90s at the comic book store. Science Fiction was her first love, but contemporary romance was her second. She’s sticking with contemporaries for the near future.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Gerard Collins was running for Senator in Massachusetts. He joined forces with his younger brother who worked in the FBI to bring down the local crime lord and the corrupt politicians. In order to win, he needed a wife so he could appear more stable. His campaign manager had found one candidate but on look at Nicole Wyman and he knew she was his perfect match. After confronting him about her sister and the past she saw how wrong she had been and agreed to help him. Their relationship was not normal since they were rushing into a marriage without even dating while they were fighting for their lives. In the end, the good won, as always, and the
couple was ready for a new beginning.

Gerard is the third book of the Collins Brothers by Victoria Pinder. This one is about the lawyer of the family Gerard Collins and the Hollywood actress Nicole Wyman aka Burns.

It’s romantic suspense with lots of action. It’s a well-written book, told by a third pov. The plot had a lot of potentials and it progressed slowly. The romance didn’t suck me in, it was too mild with no passion. The suspense was great though, it kept on going till the end. The corrupt politicians, the Mafia and the schizophrenic girl were the things that kept my interest in this story.

I couldn’t connect with the characters. They were ok. Nicole was America’s sweetheart, hardworking with no personal life but she was always nice to everyone. Gerard appeared as the brooding brother but from his confession inside the story, he was just misunderstood.

In conclusion, this isn’t my favorite book from this series but it has a good suspense story. I will rate it with 3 stars.

Gerard has always been the most serious of the Collins brothers, a hard-working lawyer, always frowning, never showing his dimples. Most especially he has a problem when his campaign manager tells him the only way he can make a successful run for senator is to get married and his name is already on the ballot. He is running on an anti-crime platform to help his brother Liam take down a Mafia family in Boston. But his mother has taught them their whole lives that Collins' don't divorce! So he goes to the restaurant to tell the woman who is ready to marry him for money, 'no thanks', when the girl he thinks of from his high school years shows up. Nicole Burns AKA movie star Nicole Wyman is back in town and wants to help him win the election! From her acceptance with, "I'll hang his laundry with mine," and Gerard's comeback, "You mean you want to be buried in my family's plot?" there is non-stop action. First one, then the other thinking this fast marriage is a bad plan, while the other swears they'll never leave the other. She helps him win his debates, he saves her from the Mafia shootouts, they buy a house and furnish it, plan a church wedding with pre-Cana preparation, get her a custom wedding dress made overnight, etc. Nicole gets cold feet and returns to the west coast three days before the wedding, but the Mafia family is waiting for her there. Great read!

Gerard is the third Collins brother in this series. Gerard is running for the U. S. Senate on the platform of fighting corruption and backroom deals. When he is confronted by Nicole Wyman about his past relationship with her sister (now residing in a psychiatric hospital with schizophrenia),  Gerard and Nicole decide to team up to increase his chances of winning.
This novel has a lot going on. There are organized crime, corrupt politicians, vendettas and a sex tape gone viral. Both Gerard and Nicole will have to step carefully around these issues while maintaining a united front.
This author does a great job of guiding the reader through a complicated plot before leading her characters to their HEA ending. Definitely entertaining and worthy of 5 stars!

Gerard Collins is running for Senator, in Victoria Pinder's third novel in her excellent s
Collins Brothers series, Gerard.

Like the Kennedys, the Collins' live in Hyannis and Gerard's brother Liam, (like Bobby Kennedy) is involved, only as an FBI agent, rather than the Attorney General.

A fight against a local crime lord and his family sees the brothers - and their 'better halves' - in danger from most unexpected sources.

Can love conquer all, to give Gerard and his bride-to-be, Hollywood star Nicole Wyman an HEA?
Or will tragedy strike when they should be at their happiest together?

Read Gerard, by Princess of Romantic Suspense, Victoria Pinder to find out - you'll love it for sure!

An interesting mix of a Billionaire Romance and a Political Thriller with plenty of family issues thrown in as well. Even includes one minor, despicable character. Nicole and Gerard are delightful characters with plenty of strengths and weaknesses. Enjoyable reading but it doesn't rate a Clean and Wholesome Romance genre.

Action-packed. Entertaining. Happily Ever After. Romantic. Scary. Steamy. Tear-jerker. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Wonderful characters.

I received a copy of this book as a gift from the author. This is my honest review.

Vote for love!

Gerard is planning on removing corruption from local government when he ran for office. Little did he know he would be campaigning for a wife. Nicole moves back home to take care of her ill sister when she sees Gerard on a date. From there to the end of the book, it is a non stop ride. The action is non-stop, the love scenes are romantic and the threat to Nicole's life is very real. Another well written book from Victoria Pinder.

The Collins Brothers are all eligible bachelors who fall hard for their women. Gerard and Nicole knew each other when they were young but life kept them apart. Just when Gerard needs a wife to help his political career, Nicole comes home and their worlds collide, insta-love and drama. Nicole's life is in danger but it is not from the criminal's that Gerard is trying to stop. This is a fast paced romance that keeps you guessing.

Gerard is running for office. His manager tells him he needs a fiance to make him seem more reliable. Nicole comes to town planning to call him out on his role in her sister's psychiatric breakdown. What she doesn't expect is to be given the role of a lifetime - pretend to be his fiance. What follows is plenty of drama and danger - for crime family to mentally ill sister. An exciting read.

Gerard. Opposites Attract

Great story on love, hate and respect. This story was based on a young girl who became an accomplished actress and paid for her sisters care in a mental institute. Her sister was a very unstable person who needed a lot of specialized care. This is a story well worth reading. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
