*** "It was a little sluggish. You could tell our guys had been off a week. The tempo wasn't quite what it was the first five practices."

*** OG Alex Kozan is "not completely" full involved, but he was dressed out for practice today. The Tigers were in full pads today. "The mental part, it's just a matter of getting used to the speed of the game" after sitting out a season due to back surgery.

*** Jason Smith has moved to receiver full time. He could still some time at quarterback, but he's working to learn the position.

*** "He wants to be good and he's coachable. I think he's got a real chance to help us."

*** DB TJ Davis had knee surgery before spring practices. Malzahn hopeful to get him back during the 2015 season.

*** RB Jovon Robinson is "getting more comfortable" every day. "He's a very football savvy guy."

*** Will you go live (tackling) with QB Jeremy Johnson in scrimmages? "I doubt we will with our quarterbacks."

*** DB Tim Irvin and WR Stanton Truitt were in no-contact jerseys.

*** DE Gimel President not yet full speed and participated in some drills. As you can see in our video earlier today, he participated in sled drills.
