Cursive Handwriting Practice and Printing Practice with Growth Mindset

Give your cursive writing practice a purpose with these Growth Mindset Cursive Writing Worksheets. These no-prep printables have your students reading, tracing, and cursive writing inspirational growth mindset quotes, then connecting to and reflecting on the quote.

These printables are meant to practice cursive writing – not to teach it step by step. Students will first read the quote related to growth mindset, then trace it with the help of dotted letters, and then write it on their own. From there, they will reflect on what they think the quote means, and then connect to it, explaining how it applies to their own life. The “reflect” and “connect” boxes can either be completed in cursive writing or printing – whichever best fits the needs of your students.

There are 40 different quotes included (NOW includes all pages in PRINTING PRACTICE as well to allow for differentiation in your classroom) – so students can complete one per week. Students can complete these printables as part of a writing center, as bell-work once a week, as part of a character education lesson, or any other way they would fit into your classroom. Completed printables can be kept in a folder, displayed on a character education bulletin board, or sent home with students as a discussion starter with parents.

Each page also contains a cursive writing alphabet (in both upper and lowercase) to aid students along the way.
