New Week-Long ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ Multiplayer Challenge Live, Story DLC Still On The Way

As another weekend starts, so does another Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer challenge. This weekend, multiplayer agents will have a different kind of challenge to complete for free loot. This challenge is different in two major ways; it will last a week and it is a combination of many previous multiplayer challenges.

Dragon Age: Inquisition fans were briefed on the new mission on the official website with more details to follow on the official forums. The challenge, called “Mission: All the Challenges,” tasks agents with completing several different challenges over the course of week. Each completed challenge at the agent level will reward the player with a Commendation Chest while each platform can complete community goals to earn a Victory Chest.

The lore behind the new major challenge is that the Inquisition is being bombarded with attacks and Commander Cullen summons multiplayer agents for their assistance. The dossier notes several previous challenges, but it does not specify goals for platforms by number.

“All hell is breaking loose in Thedas, and the Inquisition needs your help! From June 26 – July 6, you’ll be faced with a series of challenges: Survive matches without dying, accumulate match points, kill all manner of demons, Venatori, and red templars, slay dragons, and use every weapon you can get your hands on!”

Players will need to boot up Dragon Age: Inquisition to see what their goals are on their selected platform. Navigating to the “Challenges” section, located within the “Prestige” area, of the multiplayer menu should display the agent and community goals for this unique event. Basically, several challenges are running right now and completing each one will result in a free chest.

A BioWare employee further clarified what players can expect from this weekend’s Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer challenge. In fact, certain challenges are only available this weekend while some will last for a week. Undying, for example, will only run through the weekend while the match points goal and killing dragons started today and will run until July 6. Finally, two other challenges will start on June 30 and will be active until June 6. These two challenges are unknown at this time; however, one is a larger week-long challenge while the other is a set of daily challenges.

Dragon Age: Inquisition players enjoying the single-player campaign may not have anything special to complete this weekend, but those players can expect to find more story-based DLC in the future. The game’s creative director, Mike Laidlaw, reiterated to fans today that there is more DLC on the way, and as the Inquisitr reported that upcoming DLC is an addition to the story of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Will you be completing these Dragon Age: Inquisition challenges over the next week?
