WORCESTER, Mass. – The Ithaca College men's crew team competed against several teams on Saturday at Lake Quinsigamond, including Trinity, Washington College, Williams, New Hampshire, Colby and WPI.
The men's varsity 8 reached the event's grand final after placing in the top two of the Bombers' respective heat. The team of

Branden George and
Dan Brauchli finished second out of three boats in a time of 6:16.22 to earn a spot in the final.
The Bombers finished fourth in the final, completing the race in a time of 6.20.47. Trinity took the top spot with a time of 6:11.27.
The 2V8 earned a second place finish. The team of

Alex Lynn finished in a time of 6:26.65. WPI took first with a time of 6:22.9.
The 3V8 also took second in its respective race, as the team of
Sydney Eckstein,
Dylan Kershaw,
Jack Schattner,
Chris Kelley,
Joshua McCrum,
John Posca, Tim Hughes,
Sam Trow and
Skyler Bocciolatt finished in a time of 6:42.91. WPI took the slight edge with a time of 6:37.7.
The final result of the day came in the Frosh/Novice 8. The Bombers took second with a time of 6:16.94, while Trinity took first with a time of 6:16.74.
Ithaca returns to action on April 25 at the Cayuga Inlet. The Bombers will host Marist, Hamilton and Colgate.
