Nissan's radical BladeGlider

Nissan recently shocked the world once again unveiled the prototype concept car in the form of exterior design for the type of the first electric-powered cars in the world. This car is called Nissan BladeGlider, which is a concept of delta-shaped car like a race car shape.

The small car-shaped design on the front and the back is a bit wide. This design is a form of modified cars are deliberately using the blueprint for the future of electric cars. If you thought the BladeGlider looks a little familiar, you’d be right, because it indeed has some DNA, in particular the form, from the DeltaWing we saw a couple of years ago and the more recent ZEOD RC, which is destined to make its debut at the next year’s Le Mans 24 Hour race.

The BladeGlider is, in Nissan own words, "both a proposal for the future direction of Nissan electric vehicle (EV) development and an exploratory prototype of an upcoming production vehicle." it shares the same sustainable ideology as the road-going Nissan LEAF, as well as the ZEOD RC, and like the DeltaWing and ZEOD RC, takes a radical approach not only in the drivetrain, but also the overall design.

As reported by USAToday, the shape of the design of this car seat is a bit flexible and combined with the speed of gliding like an airplane. But for the average observation, this car will probably remind us as a race car designs that require fuel so much more.
This BladeGlider officially will be exhibited at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month. "The goal is to overhaul the vehicles to form a new revolution that will provide added value to the customer satisfaction" said General Manager Francois Bancon as part of Nissan's product strategy. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | NISSAN | GIZMAG | MIKE SHOUTS]
