Mission

The mission of The Nature Conservancy is to conserve the lands and waters upon which all life depends. We work across Washington, in all 50 states and in more than 70 countries, focusing on climate change, loss of biodiversity and impact on forests, cities, water, people and natural resources.

Description

Our vision is thriving nature & communities- a shared future enabling us to prosper while caring for the lands & waters that sustain us. With your support we work with communities, Indigenous Peoples, government, business, individuals and many others to sustain and enhance a healthy relationship between people and nature. For more than fifty years, we have used a science-based approach to develop innovative solutions to our state's most pressing conservation needs. And as part of the world's largest global conservation organization, we are uniquely positioned to leverage these solutions at a meaningful scale in our state and beyond. In this way, we are redefining how people, nature and economies can live together in today's world-and thrive.
