WASHINGTON, DC --- The Howard women's tennis saw its current losing streak extended to four games after a 5-2 loss to Towson University on Tuesday afternoon at the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation complex.

Junior Stacey Roheman had a hand in both points for Howard (1-6), as the upperclassman earned a straight set victory at No. 1 Singles and grabbed one of two doubles wins as she and junior Umarah Mughnee won their match at the number one spot. The 7-6, 6-3 singles win for Roheman - which included an 11-9 tiebreaker in the first set - was her second of the season, while she and Mughnee moved to over .500 (3-2) as doubles partners with their 6-3 victory.

Senior Maame Osei and sophomore Jessica Josiah helped clinch the doubles point with their 6-4 victory at No. 2.

NEXT UP: The Lady Bison will be off for a week before taking the courts next for a Intra-District matchup with UDC on Wednesday, March 11.
