    In Hell

This week on The Last Row Podcast, Drew and Badway find themselves locked up in the brutal world of 2003's In Hell, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Lawrence Taylor. The guys dissect the grim and gritty reality of life in a Russian gulag, and delve into Van Damme's transformation from an everyman steelworker to a slick-backed prison warrior. Plus, they debate the practicality of faking a disability to avoid conflict, more jailhouse bathroom etiquette, bad moth CGI, and the consequences of riding the bus to prison in a Space t-shirt

Revisiting Ghostbusters II with Ken Cole (Bonus)

In this bonus edition of The Last Row Podcast, Drew and Badway join Ken Cole (KenCast Live) to take another look at the 1989's Ghostbusters II. The guys analyze the legal woes of digging up First Avenue, the genius of Janosz Poha, the hotness of "slime" approaching the 1990s, and whether or not this sequel qualifies as a "New Year's" movie. Additional topics include an in-depth breakdown regarding the differences between a magician, sorcerer, and a wizard (helped by ChatGPT), and finally placing Vigo on The Last Row Villain Scale. Spoiler Alert: attempting to possess a baby may not have helped his score...

    The Crow (EP 150)

This week on The Last Row Podcast, let's traverse the rooftops of 1994 seeking a post-credits shower after viewing the greasy revenge flick, The Crow. Drew and Badway break down the grime that littered the set behind and in front of the camera, including crew drug use, Brandon Lee’s accidental death, filthy alleyways, dank apartments, and slimy pawn shops. Additionally, the guys speculate on the sound of Eric Draven’s fake band, Hangman’s Joke, and put the underrated Final Boss, Top Dollar, through the villain scale.

Greatness achieved

I have long looked for inspiration, dignity, professionalism, honor, strength and wisdom in a movie review podcast…at last it is here, in the Last Row.

An Epic Podcast

Sad to see there’s only 5 stars to highlight. I agree with so many other reviews of this show, but I want mention a couple things I really appreciate this show for. First: The points brought up by Drew and Badway are their honest opinions. Even if they like a director or actor, it will not stop them from mentioning something comical that wasn’t meant to be. If Steven Seagal decides to take a “shortcut” during a car chase over the bumpiest possible road, you’ll hear about it. The second thing: Getting a fresh watch on all the movies they review (Even though they have seen them in the past) really allows a listener the chance to know how a movie has held up over time. You get to hear the thoughts of the hosts on a movie through the lens of youth and adulthood. That creates this dynamic in the show that makes me curious to hear everything they upload. It doesn’t even matter if I’ve seen the movie before or not. This podcast is a must-listen. What’s there to lose? Check it out!

Out here making movies I’ve never seen better

Look, to be completely honest I listen to this podcast even though haven’t seen like 90% of these movies, because growing up I never really had access to them, but I’m familiar with most of the plots because of word of mouth and the internet. Even still, Drew and Badway make these films even more funny, easy to follow, and their obvious friendship makes their ability to punch up all the major points and character arcs an enjoyable experience every episode. Cannot recommend it enough.
