Ashton's 1 year anniversary at Boxers!
I'm celebrating my 1 year anniversary at Boxers rooftop in HK on June 3rd in conjunction with an outing to see Fun Home. Join us for 2-4-1 drinks to usher in pride and afterwards (if you've not yet seen it!) enjoy this incredible new gay show that's earned 12 Tony noms - all while supporting LGBT rights abroad with IGLHRC.
Gay Italy Tour
Join Oscar Wilde Tours' Italy trip and get a $400 discount! Learn about Italy's LGBT history, (super gay) artistic heritage and fab cuisine. Led by historian Dr. Andrew Lear, with local guides from Quiiky, Italy's only LGBT travel agency. Mention "Gayography" for the $400 discount.
Ashton Takes on Pride!
Ready for Pride? Perhaps you don't have a destination in mind - but maybe you're already headed there! Check out OutTraveler's loose guide for this summer's events - or GayCities Pride Guides for each major city. I'll visit Orlando's Gay Days, DC, Riga for EuroPride back to NYC and Market Days in Chicago. Follow me: #GAYBriefPride.

More from Blade correspondent Michael Lavers' trip to Cuba -- an LGBT activist challenging the regime as well as the supposed-LGBT friendly member of the Castro family.

India now has it's first openly transgender leader of an educational institution - Manabi Bandopadhyay will take over next month at a women's institution in Kolkata.

A Uganda tabloid published pictures of LGBT activists in London celebrating UK Pride as a "sex fest" - the activists simply are shown showing affection to same-sex partners.
