Good news: Two congressional leaders on the House and Senate Appropriations Committees are working to promote the growth and expansion of high-performing charter schools by supporting greater funding for the federal Charter Schools Program. More funds for the Charter Schools Program means more quality charter schools can open nationwide and fewer students will be stuck on lengthy wait lists.
