My name is Dyson Michaels and my life got flipped upside down the day my grandfather passed away and in his ultimate wisdom, he chose to mess with my life from beyond the grave.

~Six months prior~
“…therefore, in layman’s terms, unless you are married by July 18th, and within five years produce an heir, your portion of your grandfather’s estate and shares will be divided equally between your three siblings. You will inherit nothing.
If you marry but do not produce an heir, your shares will be divided among your siblings.
If you do not wed by said date, you may if you should so choose to, keep your position with your grandfather’s company and draw a salary. You will also be entitled the corporate benefits program.
Do you have any questions?...”

I knew by the word marriage, that it meant in the conventional way, with the usual I do between a man and a woman in a church with all the bells and whistles. I wanted to say no, I should have said no, but like the fool I am I said yes.
And now I’m trying to explain to everyone, why it is that I’m breaking Rebecca’s heart and I’ve been living a lie all my life.
I’m still waiting for that bolt of lightning to strike me dead.

Warning: M/M Romance, containing explicit language and sexual contentment recommended for readers 18+.

The characters were overly dramatic at times, and their thoughts and actions were not very believable for the two men that were described in the beginning. If the characters had both been females, then this book would have made more sense to me. Harley and Dyson were described as being smart, sexy, tall, muscular, business men. However, they thought and acted like emotional drama queens. I could maybe understand if the characters were supposed to be ditzy and also very effeminate( in the emotional way). But as it was, the protagonists were just too emotional and insecure for me.

And these pet peeves were amplified by the writing style. The author was good at describing physical movements; but when it came to personal thoughts, it was just too much of, well, everything to be really convincing. For instance, certain emotions were laid on just way too thick, and I felt it made the characters both confusing and immature. Also, she would place dialogue in the book that most people would never say or ask, but she put those lines in there just to make the conversation go in the direction she wanted it to go.

Okay, sorry, I know I'm being harsh. This book was really grated on my sore spots.

Hmmm, good things about this book… Well, I thought the plot was pretty cool, and it had lots of potential. And the sex was interesting, in a good way, most of the time.

This book was so poorly written I finally gave up at the 10% mark and returned it for a refund. As an avid reader, I’ve read books I didn’t like or didn’t finish but I’ve never written a bad review criticizing the writer’s work nor returned the book. Even if I didn’t like the story line, the writer’s style or the characters, I figured my expectations of the book didn’t match the writer’s vision, and I left it at that. But for the second time in a month, I bought a book that was so poorly written, I wondered if I somehow downloaded an unfinished draft of the book. While some of the sentences are written correctly, at least half of them are so poorly drafted they completely disregard any rules on grammar, sentence construction or punctuation. There are long, run on sentences with no conjunctions or transitional words. It’s as if she wrote several short sentences and removed the punctuation to make one long sentence. For example, here’s a “sentence” from Unobtainable……

”The guys are meeting at Chances bar for a few drinks after work on Friday to celebrate Remington’s retirement,” he walked closer to my desk, I wanted so badly to lean into him and sniff in all of his wild masculinity, maybe even lick his face, that would do it for me.

Here's another....

I fought to suppress my fantasy of walking over and caressing that perfect a—of his, palming each cheek while I talked dirty into his ear, before I could totally root myself in my fantasy however, he closed the filing cabinet drawer and swiftly turned, catching me gawking, as usual.

And another......

I walked out to our reception area discovering the place was barren, I was left as usual to secure everything and lock up for the night, what would they do without me?

I’m surprised by the 5 star reviews this book has received because it’s clear the writer thought editing is optional. I HATE to pay for a book containing editing mistakes. But I really HATE is paying for a poorly written book that contains so many grammatical and editing mistakes that the book become unreadable. Certainly not worth the money and I wouldn’t risk buying anything else Ms. Rose attempts to write.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

First of all, I liked this book enormously. The theme has been dealt with before (he is not for me, it's only sex, I have issues, etc), but still, I'm a sucker for a beautiful romance, especially if there is a little bit of kink involved.

Our "hero", Dyson, has to get married if he is to get his inheritance. He feels trapped, and goes through all the motions to comply with the last will and testament of his grandfather, but at the last minute (i.e. at the altar) he just can't go through with it and says "no". Shock, horror....especially from his fiancée, who asks him if she is the one who made him gay (silly girl!). Oh yes, I presume you guessed that Dyson (lovely name...swoon) is gay. After all it is an M/M romance. Anyway, he has now accepted that he will have to forgo his inheritance since only 13 days remain before the deadline set by the Will.

Until..... Until a random lawyer he meets in a bar where is he drinking to drown his sorrows, points out to him that there is no stipulation in the Will (which he always carries with him and allows her to read once she had asked him why he was so glum) as to whom he must marry, which means it doesn't necessarily have to be a woman.

Well, that opens up a whole new perspective on the situation.

Enter Harley. Harley had actually "entered" four years previously when he began working at the same company Dyson works at, a family company which also employs Dyson's three brothers (who are not gay) and which all four are set going to inherit in the future. Harley is a salesman and Dyson fell for him at first sight, but not knowing whether Harley was gay or not, along with the fact that he had to marry Rebecca (that's the fiancée who changes straight men into gay ones lol), he kept his distance.

Anyway Harley offers to "marry" Dyson to help him out, after, initially having been resistant to the idea. He has also had his eye on Dyson for a long while, thinks that Dyson does not know he exists, and has kept his distance (...ahh there is that word again).

However, Harley has very strict conditions if he is to go through with this enterprise, which is only temporary in order to comply with the Will, and to convince the lawyer in charge of its execution; the plan is to divorce after a few months.

Now Harley having his eye on Dyson does not mean love, or commitment, oh no. In fact he really does try to keep it "platonic", they do not even consummate their marriage (at first).

Harley has demons to face, nightmares which won't go away and which he does not want Dyson to know about. He is afraid that if Dyson knew his whole story, he would run for the hills. They have by this time become friends (that's what they tell each other), and he does not want to compromise that friendship.

However as the marriage/arrangement/relationship develops, things get complicated (don't they always).

Both finally agree that they are attracted to each other and that sex does not need to change their friendship. Harley's reluctance for any commitment/love is because he had had a bad break up in the past, having been in a BDSM relationship which did not go well for him. However, he is still willing to add a little bit of kink to their "no strings attached" sex life. Although wary at first, Dyson is prepared to try it. He realises that he can only be with Harley for a few months and is willing to take whatever he can while he can. However, he convinces himself to remain detached (another way of keeping your distance:)).

This story is written in a first person narrative, with an ever changing POV. The writer swaps from Harley to Dyson and back to Harley. So you have to watch out at every new chapter, as well as nearly every page, who is telling the story. It's a pace one has to get used to, which threw me a little at first, but once that's sorted, you get into the rhythm.

Although this change of POV can be annoying, it does give the reader a perspective on each of the characters as the story unfolds. So from that point of view, I thought it was good, although less often would have better, I think.

From the Dyson POV, some things became a little repetitive: he realises he acts a like a girl sometimes, or is whiny, or throws hissy fits, etc. This, for me, comes from a lack of confidence. He realises it himself, and tries to behave. The author mentions this quite a lot, and I think it is safe to say that after a few chapters, we understand Dyson's personality and don't need it constantly repeated.
That is not to say that Dyson cannot be "bossy" or assertive, or even a "raging bull" when the situation warrants it.

Harley's POV less comes over as less "whiny", but then Harley is hiding behind a mask, not only visible to the outside world but to himself as well. He puts up this mask to protect himself. He does however let go sometimes in private: he cries and screams, but it's for different, deeper reasons.

These deeper reasons are mainly to do with his mother. Oh yes, he has mommy issues, but then anyone having a mother like that would probably have the same issues. Boy, is she a piece of work! As we read about her we understand more why Harley is as he is. His difficulties trusting anyone not only come from his disastrous BDSM experience, but from his "mommy dearest", as he calls her sarcastically.

His wariness to trust leads to a lack of communication with Dyson, to which Dyson reacts by not communicating much either (keeping his distance), which then leads to misunderstandings, arguments...and then of course make up sex, which slowly, as the story unfolds, does lead to a growing sense of trust and understanding.

One detail which I found a bit weird: Harley, having had a bad BDSM experience in the past is ready to initiate Dyson in a little kink. I would have thought that he would, on the contrary, try to stay away from anything which might remind him of his past experiences, since he already has his nightmares to contend with, linked to those experiences, and to his "mommy dearest". On the other hand, it could be a way for him to exorcise his demons, his turn to be in control.....food for thought.

However, I found both characters very lovable in their own way. Their love scenes were sometimes really hot, at other times a little rough, and the rest of the time absolutely passionate and tender. Once they could trust each other, they were prepared to give their relationship their all, and enjoy it.

There was generally a good balance of banter, humour, seriousness, soul-searching, romance and a touch of suspense to give the book a good pace. I thought the 447 pages was fine; It gives plenty of time to develop the plot, the characters and the ending without it being too contrived. Talking of the end, it was not just the traditional ending; you get an extra 30 pages giving you an insight into their future lives, which I thought was great.

It's not quite a 5* because of the constant change in POV, the repetitions about Dyson and Harley's attitude to kink, but apart from these little "quirks" this was a great read.

Just a little comment on the PDF copy I received. It had quite a few grammatical mistakes as well as typos (eg: "hear" in instead of "here", "their" instead of "there", "in the threshold" instead of "on the threshold", "I would have leapt from my hiding place and took him on", instead of "taken him on", "I would have ate" instead of "I would have eaten", ...).

I will end on a quote from Harley: "Eternity is where true love exists", and I would recommend this to all romance lovers who enjoy a little bit of spice in the relationship, as well as two adorable guys who may try and look tough on the outside, but are as soft as your pocket on the inside.

A M/M Romance Group Team Spin Spellapalooza Challenge read. (Go Team 6 - Living In Spin!!!)

Meh.

That's about all the enthusiasm I could work up for this overly tortured piece of fluff. I didn't even bother with the extra half star I'd usually give "just for trying" because of all the grammatical issues. Sentence structure I could care less about (because I can't nitpick what I do so terribly myself) but OMFG all the homophone errors...sole instead of soul, collage/college, brake/break, vile/vial, fare/fair, hear/here, coarse/course - that last one was in the "About the Author" blurb (heh, something about that is very telling). Where the fuck did the "editor" go to school? (Provided they did, or if this actually had one.)

Also, it was little shit that was like...IDK, seriously? I get the idea of last minute flights but if you're in NYC, it will take at LEAST an hour to get back to the hotel & then the airport - suffering through ticketing, security and gate travel not withstanding. So, no. You do not get off the phone and say you have a flight that leaves in an hour and expect anyone in this country (or century) believe it unless it's a private jet and even that I'm skeptical on.

Or, a dizzy invalid just recovering from bacterial pneumonia being allowed a fucking bath in the hospital. Just, no. That simply doesn't happen. It would have been a sponge bath till the "spinney" (sic) was gone; after that a shower in a handicapped stall with a plastic seat just in case. A "bath" in the physical therapy tub is just...WTF?

Better yet, does the author think that because the MM romance is so often read by women that we don't know football? Your characters are scheduled to go to a game in Denver and then when one asks who's playing it's a team wearing, duh, orange and blue, because what other colors would the team be wearing? BUT IT'S NOT DENVER??!!?!!? Okay, so it's supposed to be the Dolphins colors but I just...gah. No, their's is orange and green. Well, aqua. Which I guess is sort of a blue, too. But still. The way it was written. So dumb.

Don't even get me started about the MCs going to see a therapist because one of them is trying to seek counseling as treatment for a previous sexual assault and having the psychologist recommend seeing them TOGETHER (even the 1st appointment was as a couple). That just doesn't happen; the raped MC needs the privacy to work that out without having to worry how their partner reacts & feels. Maybe after a few sessions - or if they'd been together for like, 20 years - and only as a way to address handling the nightmares. No, not even after 20 years, and especially not newlyweds who married for contractual purposes.

Also, WHERE THE FUCK WAS THE PRE-NUP? All that bullshit about the "Will" (sic) requiring marriage or the MC loses his portion of the family company...but not one word about protecting that inheritance from being halved after the divorce...which was pre-planned into the situation? ARGH.

Oh, and a mother as a publicly elected official - referred to only as "Honorable" (I'm guessing it's a Canadian thing even though this is supposed to be set in the USA) - being the fodder of all the gossip rags for serial marriages where she bankrupts the husbands. BUT STILL supposedly has a chance at re-election? (Fuck, I don't even think we have an example here like that.)

Just, little shit like that adds up to bring the rating down. Plus, all the saccharine stupidity, non-communication, over-the-top Dynasty type intrigue, MCs "snarling" at each other one minute but lovingly sweet in the very next sentence and acting like they're both suffering from Multiple Personality AND Bipolar disorders (plus the grammar, ugh) it was just so not worth the time I took to read it. Not even the sex scenes. But, since I needed the letters for the challenge I suffered through.

Unless it's a free read at Amazon or you've got nothing else to do and want to kill a few brain cells then don't bother. I've read more compelling 80's HQN titles (which is saying something), more enticingly erotic bodice-rippers and better written fanfiction.

Review copy provided in exchange for an honest review.

Dyson works with his brothers at their Grandfather's company. One day his brother, EJ, introduces him to one of their new employees, Harley. One look at Harley and Dyson is Gobsmacked! He is so turned around by him, he runs right into the doorframe and gives himself a bloody nose!

Meeting Dyson was like a lightening strike that threatened to start his deadened heart. Harley wanted to go help him with his nose but kept himself back.

In his grandfather's Will, his grandfather says that Dyson must marry or not be a partner in the company with his brothers. He has six months. With only days left, Harley agrees to marry him for the six months required then they will separate.

Love, Lust, Desire, Betrayal, Blackmail .....I can go on and on with what is contained in this book, however, that would necessitate a thesaurus and a dictionary. I have one criticism, and that is there is so much to this book, that it could have really been more. There are two or even three amazing stories involving Dyson and Harley. 1 is their coupling. 2. is Harley's mom and past. #3 is Bruno if not dealt within #2.

Other than that, I can't say that I had any issues. I enjoyed my reading. Took me two days because of the holiday, but I was glued to the book. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Rose.

Received an ARR copy for an honest review.

I read a lot of m/m books and I think this is one of the good ones out there.

Dylan Michaels is a closeted gay man and he receives the worst thing in the world an ultimatum from the grave. If he doesn't he will lose his share in the family business. Dylan tries in the beginning to go down the conventional "straight" guy route by getting married to a woman. With the clock ticking down to the deadline set from beyond the grave by his grandfathers will. He couldn't do it.

Harley Cooper works along side Dylan in Dylan's family business. Harley has his own demons that he battles every waking moment, to prove to himself and others that his is a capable human being.

He and Dylan have a connection but at what cost to each other. Will Harley help Dylan keep his place within the family business? How will Dylan help, Harley with his own personal issues? Can the past come back and haunt both Dylan (from the grave), Harley in the here and now?

~o~

I don't want to say too much but I did like this book and I felt for both characters dealing with the issues that kept coming up. I especially felt for Harley in this story, with the problems from the past that kept creeping up on him. I liked the way the resolution of the story happened, with the support Dylan gave for him and the support Harley gave Dylan. It tough reading some of it but I could understand why that would change him.

All I will say is that if you have dealt in your own personal situation sexual abuse then I would ask you to take care reading this.

Dyson's life has just taking a dramatic and sad turn and not just because his grandfather died but because he's messing with his life from beyond the grave. His grandfather left instructions in his will for Dyson, to marry by a certain date and produce an heir within five years or kiss his inheritance goodbye. Dyson knows that his grandfather wasn't talking about gay marriage either. He said yes even though everything in his being is telling him to say no. Now six months later he has to explain to everyone why he's breaking Rebecca's heart and why he has lived a lie.

Dyson meets the beautiful Harley at his grandfather's company and he can't keep his eyes off the man he has just met. Now after explaining his predicament, Harley agrees to marry him and separate six months later. He was about to marry Rebecca but with only a few days left of his grandfathers deadline he has backed out of the wedding and outing himself to everyone. Now only two weeks left is when he meets Harley and finds out there is a loophole in the will as it doesn't say which sex he has to marry. He looks at Harley and this is where the story really begins with lots of love, drama, sex, betrayal and the ultimate blackmail.

OMG what a fantastic read. I was so blown away by this book and loved every minute of it. It was a long read and I so loved it. It was written as a multi pov.

Tbere were so many aspects to this story. There was heartache, deception, redemption, personal growth, violence, very mild BDSM, romance, panty melting sexiness, and the list goes on. I had heart twinges and tears, and even a few lol moments.

Jennifer outdid herself with this book and I so look forward to reading more of her work.

The characters are so well written and easy to fall in love with. There was so much depth to the characters. We were provided with detailed thoughts and feelings, allowing us to become really close to the character. Their dialogue and thoughts drew me in and made me feel as if I was a part of the story. The description to details were so easy to visualize.

All in all, a fantastic read.

Would I recommend this book? Yes!

Would I read more from this author? Absolutely!

This is my first read from Ms. Rose and I have to say that I think that her writing is terrific. The storyline and characters are all very well created and will make you reluctant to put the book down once you begin reading. You most likely have to do so because this is a decent length read, but it really has to be because of the amount of information in the story. It takes you through so much with the main character Dyson and then Harley, and then add in Dyson's family and all of the things and people involved there. It is a very well rounded story jam packed with questions and greed, and betrayal, and there is also a great deal of longing, passion and love. I love the way the story winds out and takes you along for the ride. I had a great time reading this book and I can't wait for more from this author. I suck at reviews but here it goes... This was a good read, very emotional though. I loved Dyson from the start, Harley it was a love hate throughout the book( sorry) I ended up loving him in the end :) . It starts off with Dyson about to marry a woman so he can keep his grandfathers inheritance but he can't go through with it & outs himself. So he only has a few weeks to marry so he meets a lawyer by chance at a bar & she tells him the wool doesn't say which sex he has to marry, so he's on the hunt for a man with 2 weeks left. There's a new hottie at work (Harley) this past 4yrs he had his eye on but wasn't sure he was gay. At a party of a co worker after work Dyson & Harley get drunk, then the story begins... Happy Reading!!

This book begins with us meeting Dyson who life is in chaos. Dysons grandfather has passed away and in order for Dyson to keep his shares of the family’s company he must marry within 6 months. In comes Harley new employee and smokin’ hot. Dyson is ready to throw in the towel on his inheritance when Harley steps up and offers to marry him in a rouse to get it. Dyson and Harley are attracted to each other but Harley has a past that has made him feel unworthy of giving and receiving love. Can these two stay married long enough to get the job done?
This was my first read by this author and I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review and I was not disappointed. This is definitely a book worth your time and money.

Ok, I don't write reviews. I must write one for this amazing book. First it was a whole book....not just a beginning or just the juicy middle or just a quick overview. It was the whole thing! Dyson and Harley were MEN, real masculine, strong men who acted like men! I don't mean to offend, but this is the kind of character I LOVE!!! The story was great and kept me wondering what would happen next. YES I WANT TO BE THEIR NEIGHBOUR.... and to those who know me know that is the biggest compliment I can ever give a book. I can't wait for more, great job Jennifer Rose!!

I made it to 27%. I rarely DNF books but this was more than I could stand. A stupendous number of run on sentences, other missing, misplaced commas and periods were bad enough. Add to that, misspelled words, incorrect homonyms, and tepid, banal dialogue and lack of plot. I did try, as I was a bit interested in Harley's nightmares and other intimated issues but not enough to continue. Thank goodness, yet again, for Kindle Unlimited.

A first read for the author with this book. I started reading with in open mind, straightaway it's a great start as the two MCs meet. Dyson is really tongue tied when it comes to Harley.. Oh I had to laugh with Harley with what he's told about the Will. The scenes play along and I loved the domination and bondage scenes in this I wasn't expecting it. A kinda business deal made between them but feelings come into play and causes huge problems, the lack of communication too. Harley doesn't do relationships and there's a horrible hidden story behind that. There is also trouble with someone making waves against Harley which includes a small twist. A few things at the start had me to thinking meh with it's similarities. The book has a lot of storyline which is never boring kept me reading, overall I really liked this one.
TRIGGERS mentioned of past abusive and rape, PTSD.

Dyson meets Harley and they sizzle briefly....fast forward 4 years... almost married at 28 Dyson was the company accounting clerk. Harley was the new employees of the Michael's firm.

First let me say that I love a nice, long story that allows me to spend a lot of time with the characters and Unobtainable definitely falls into that category. In fact, I spent so much time with Dyson and Harley that I'm actually missing both of them right now! Dyson Michaels is head of accounting at his family's firm, low man on the totem pole as far as his brothers are concerned and on the verge of losing his piece of the family pie altogether if he can't meet the terms of his grandfather's will on time. Desperation leads him to propose to a female co-worker and friend but as he's standing there at the altar, he realizes that he can't go through with it. He is gay after all and as much as he cares for Rebecca, he knows that he can never love her as she deserves to be loved. He is, in fact, in love with a male co-worker and has been for years. Harley Cooper, handsome, confident, and accomplished has been the object of Dyson's desires, but unbeknownst to all, Harvey harbors some deep, dark secrets of his own. Outing himself to family, friends and close to two hundred guests, Dyson calls off the wedding, believing that it would be better to lose everything rather than to live a lie. Harley comes to the rescue though, offering to marry Dyson temporarily, meeting the conditions of his grandfather’s will, thus securing his inheritance and his place in the family business.
Thus their story begins…
Well-written and chock full of emotion, Unobtainable takes the reader down a long and winding road littered with passion and pain, love and fear, family drama and more than one life-threatening event. These men must deal with their growing feelings for each other while dealing with enemies from the past and present determined to make trouble for them. They must also deal with their own personal demons, with Harley’s erratic behavior and mood swings, the result of suffering at the hands of a sadistic, abusive ex and a homophobic, neglectful mother. There are some laughs to be had here, more than a few tears and several times where you will find yourself unable to put this story down.
There were a few editing errors though and a minor inconsistency or two with characterization which kept this otherwise fantastic story from being a solid five star read for me, but still worth every penny and every moment that I spent reading. A highly recommended MM read!

okaaaaaaay~

first, i want to comment about the cover. oh please, this cover was as similar as several book i stumbled upon. not luring the reader who obviously has a cover fetish to instantly want to read the book. just no. i am actually one of them, reader who take a cover into consideration before reading the excerpt. so, in a way, the author got lucky, because i read the ARC forum in my iPhone apps, and the cover didnt load up, i ended up reading this. and because the ARC in mobi, i couldnt see the cover till now, when writing my review in my PC.

i want to give a praise, really, of how deep and accurate the writer describes a feeling of someone like Dyson -a romanticist, someone who does a relationship with no holding back, give his all without expecting nothing in return- while loving someone like Harley -a manwhore, someone who afraid of love, closing his heart because it once ripped out, pretending to be coldhearted when deep down craving some caring-. hell, it really resembles my own story, my life story. tons of quotes really stabbed right through my heart. i just.. wow!

unfortunately, for such a well described feeling, the story lack of flow. hmm, not actually flow. the flow quite strong, i can see that the author already mapped out where the story will end up from the very beginning, because no dragging out or even rushing i ever found. but, seems the author lack of creativity or imagination of what events could lead the flow onto that direction without being like an artificial or even scenarioted conflict. some seems fake, some seems not making any sense to the whole story, and sometimes not even correlated with before or after situation. ohhh, the blurbs really only a part of prologue, not where the story lies on. i anticipated some infidelity or confrontation of the wife and the male lover, but no, the story actually only began right after where the blurbs end.

i also want to give a thumbs up for the really extended epilogue. even before the epilogue chapter, we got to see how the after life of the main story goes along.

I absolutely love "marriages of convenience" or "forced circumstances" situations, so this should have been a slam dunk. If you make the decision early on that you're just going to give in to a little guilty pleasure and not look for any great work of literature, it's not so bad. There are ridiculous grammatical errors that could have taken then from a 2 star book to a 3. That's not even starting with the plot. I don't care that it's laughable. Like I said, in the right story, it's perfect. But. No.

First, there is plenty enough plot line, if the author had decided to commit to the main story line everything would have been perfect enough, but you almost sense the author's hesitance, and it comes off in the writing. It feels like she added in Harley's additional demons as an afterthought, to kind of give it substance, but instead of giving it depth, it's distracting - and ultimately ridiculous.

The MAIN line, the struggle of Dyson against his family, his Grandfather's Will, his SELF, and eventually he and Harley's struggle against developing feelings, etc...is more than enough and VERY well done. I liked them both, despite my intentions and was invested in them. The rest? Just comes off as accidental or less than genuine... And the bdsm "garnish" is totally cliched, unbelievable and frankly offensive. Harley's IMPOSSIBLE mother and what not, well, I realize this is fiction, but some realism would've made this a 4 star book.

(5 stars)

Dyson's grandfather throws a curveball in his will, when it's stated that Dyson must marry. Dyson isn't dating anyone and he is gay, so he is feeling....like it's a lost cause. He even goes to the extreme to marry....a woman. But of course Dyson is too nice to ruin her life, so he owns up and tells her he is gay, at the worst possible time; their wedding. But hey, he gets points for not marrying her.

Harley is the guy that Dyson lusts after, who also works with Dyson. He doesn't hide that he is gay, he just isn't telling people. Dyson and Harley start spending more time together, and Harley really wishes he could help Dyson with his "little" problem, but he has his reasons for not being able to.

This story is ....well amazing! It was pretty damn near perfect. Right amount of drama, the BDSM scenes were off the charts HOT, and the characters were very likeable. I was rooting for the two of them the whole book. There is so much more I could say, but I'm not one to leave spoilers. Letting your heart get what it wants, when your head is telling you this isn't a good idea, is always hard.

This is the first time I have read anything by Jennifer Rose and it will not be the last. I give this 5 stars.

What I hate most about books is really poor editing and this book was absolutely riddled with grammatical errors, mistakes and non existent punctuation. I also found it to be unnecessarily long winded and I feel that it could easily have been condensed. However, I did like the story and the characters but the author definitely needs to do some work on her writing skills, improve her grammar and punctuation and have the book proof read and edited properly.
