And with the arrival of a controversial new app called Hookd that matches attractive young men with powerful women willing to pay for their companionship, Ben and Grace soon find incredibly appealing – and risky – solutions to their problems. With Hookd, Ben can easily make the money to save his beloved sister, while Grace can get back at her cheating husband and spice up her quiet nights with the kind of hot, anonymous sex she only reads about in books. A Short Steamy (*fanning* face) Read That Does Not Disappoint!

Another great spicy read by Mr. King...the man knows how to write extremely well and he knows erotica. He pulls a reader in with enduring in-depth characters and then sets the reader on fire with his erotic scenes.

I'm not going to give a full summary since there are already a few, but I will say for such a short story the plot and characters are wonderfully developed. Ben seems like such a sweetheart and I can't wait to get to know him better.

This is a short read and definitely ends on a cliffhanger...so I cant wait for the next installment!

Be sure to check out this new exciting author...you won't be sorry. ; )

Enjoy!!!

I was lucky enough to read an ARC of this book. Wow! A different story from the norm. Loved it!
Poor Ben that kid has the weight of the world on his shoulders. As if being in college and trying to pay living expenses isn't enough he has a handicap sister to take care of and all of her medical bills. He is only 20 for god sakes!
A crazy opportunity falls in his lap! A male prostitute? Why not he likes women. But he has a secret that is pulling at him. (I think I might know it but keeping my thoughts to myself)

I really enjoyed this book and got completely hooked! Can't wait for the next one!!
Again you left us RIGHT THERE! I am sensing a trend!

I’m still very much at a loss for words when it comes to Mrs. Robinson.

I picked up this book because author Seth King is on the list for an upcoming author event in Oklahoma (which I will be attending), and I wanted to experience his writing before potentially seeing/meeting him in person. He’s actually sent me an ARC of The Summer Remains, but at the time I was in the mood to read something more fun than sad.

So I bought Mrs. Robinson and dove headfirst into it instead.

What I liked:
• The fresh and unusual subject matter: the app, the very specific clientele, etc.
• How the author turns the “cougar” concept on its head, giving it depth and a positive spin
• The male romance author angle: Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the female NA authors out there. But hearing the guy’s perspective is a nice change of pace. (The only other I’ve read that comes to mind is A Song for Julia by Charles Sheehan-Miles.)
• I actually didn’t mind the cliffhanger. I can’t say much about it without revealing spoilers, but it isn’t the type of cliffhanger I despise…as long as we get the next installment eventually. I’m not on the edge of my seat concerning the outcome, but I am curious.

What I’m not sure about:
• Everything concerning the Miss Jill experience (the retelling of which made me cringe)
• How the dual perspective is executed: As a method of narration, I do generally prefer dual perspectives, especially in new adult or romance literature. But in this case—from their phrasings to their vocabulary to their thought processes—the main characters sounded too similar (like the same person was narrating both sections).

Overall, I’d mark this down as an enjoyable and entertaining read. Even though it wasn’t perfect, it did give me some stuff to think about. I didn’t necessarily connect with either character, but I do still want the best for each.

Verdict: A quick read that gets steamy toward the end, Mrs. Robinson is sure to break up the monotony of your reading list!

Mrs. Robinson is the first book in the Mrs. Robinson saga written by Seth King. This book starts off with Ben Bradley, a twenty year old that is trying desperately to take care of his older sister; she was involved in some sort of accident a number of years ago and needs care almost around the clock. Ben is struggling financially to afford even the basics for himself and his sister. He is days way from getting evicted from his apartment, and if he can’t come up with money fast his sister is going to be shipped off to a nursing home, which is the last thing Ben wants. Ben is willing to do anything to take care of Claire, he is all she has. But where will he draw the line? Is he willing to do something that is against the law and taboo?
Grace Robinson has been married to her husband for 20 years, and on that anniversary she gets stood up by him. He claims that he has to work late, but while he is working, his cell phone accidentally calls her and his “working” seems to be anything but that. That is when Grace has to decide is she going to just sit by and let her husband cheat on her? Is she going to leave him and the lifestyle that she has grown accustomed to? Or is she going to beat him at his own game? Maybe it’s time for Grace to put down the trashy romance novels, and live what she has been reading about, and so desperately wants for herself.
Mrs. Robinson is an amazing hot, steamy, and sexy book. I have to admit that I have never read a romance book by a male author, and wasn’t sure what to expect. King nailed it! He was maybe more direct and aggressive in his writing of certain scenes, than maybe a women would have been, but to be honest it really worked for this book and left you in awe. And the sex scenes where as hot as the come! My only complaint is that the story was so short, well under 100 pages, and by the end of the book you have so many questions. I hope that the Mrs. Robinson saga continues sooner rather than later! A must read for erotic romance!

OK, wow. I read this one a few days ago and I had to marinate on this bad boy a bit. Maybe I needed to spend some time with family over my Thanksgiving meal so that I felt a little less dirty after reading this super super sexy book? I have read Seth’s other NA book and while it was sexy, I do not think I was quite prepared for this level of sexiness.

Ben is down on his luck and in need of money, desperately. He is a good kid, taking care of his handicapped sister and pretty much carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. He is offered an opportunity he cannot refuse; money for sex.

Mrs. Robinson is over her cheating congressman husband. She wants to get him back and the best way she can think to do that is with a hot young Ben.

I really do enjoy Seth’s writing. It is smart writing and keeps me turning the pages wanting to find out what happens next. His last book felt a little slow in some parts to me and this one felt a little rushed in some parts. I am sure he will find a middle ground soon but honestly, I think that comes with time and practice. Mrs. Robinson reads like a serial and I happen to be falling madly in love with serials lately. They read like little sitcoms or soap operas and you find yourself ringing your hands waiting for the next installment. It is very clever of these authors. ;) This one is particularly naughty with a side of kink and I did enjoy it but I felt slightly dirty after enjoying it so much. LOL! It does have a huge cliffy and I know some of you hate that but I absolutely love being left hanging and waiting for the next book. Anticipation of a good book is so much fun! This one is definitely worth a read and I cannot wait to find out what happens next with Mrs. Robinson and Ben. Those dirty dirty birds.

Check out my full review on my blog here, after reading my first reaction below! http://uforever22.wix.com/booksndream...

11/24/2014 Ok now that I've been able to sleep after reading Mrs. Robinson I'm posting my review again on my blog, link will be up soon, and at least now I can take a deep breathe and breathe (still speechless)

I'm pretty good about what I say on my reviews but I can't hold back, just like Mrs. Robinson begged, now I am, I need the next one now!! I need Mrs. Robinson #2 I know this is a short story, but you can't end on a cliffhanger like that and not expect to hear begging. Please Seth King!

Ok, I feel better new.

Ok, now for the actual review (no spoilers).. when I saw Seth had another book coming out I was beyond excited, I was like a kid in a candy store, it's a must have. The character Ben you immediately have feelings for him, you want to do nothing but help him and do unimaginable things with him (you learn this very quickly). Then we have our rich, house wife Mrs. Robinson and you immediately feel so bad for her and want to strangle her husband, seriously, it isn't fair what she goes through. But the most amazing part of this story is the connection the two characters have, and how it continued to escalate quickly, than pause, then build back up, and then goes off like fireworks!! I'm beyond excited for number 2, how can you not agree that cliffhanger!! Oh and ladies this book is extremely hot, there's your warning :)

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! After just reading The Summer Remains, I wanted to try something else by Seth King and had downloaded Mrs Robinson a while ago.

This was a quick read and I wasn't sure what to expect. Ben was a young man caring for his sister who had multiple health issues. He was her only caregiver, and desperate times call for desperate measures. So when he is approached to become part of an app called Hookd, hired as companions (escorts) for rich women who don't have time for social lives, he goes for it...... with much trepidation.

Grace is a lonely, married 40ish year old woman whose husband is big politically and who constantly cheats and lies while Grace turns a blind eye.

Ben and Grace are connected through the app...... and wow did sparks fly!!!! Sooo HOT!!!!!!!!! seriously, I can't use enough exclamation points to describe how hot the sex scenes were AND they didn't even have actual sex by he end of the book! Quite a cliffhanger at the end and I am curious to see where this goes.

Seth King, this was a hellaluva lot different than The Summer Remains (which has topped as one of my favorites this year). In Mrs Robinson, I connected with the characters, they had real life stories, and that's what I loved! And boy, the dirty talking sexiness...... ..... and here I thought you were a nice innocent boy! Haha!!!

I read this author’s first book, The Goode Fight, and enjoyed his writing and storytelling, so I thought that I would give this book a try. Okay, and I will also admit that I do enjoy a forbidden love story (I feel no shame in that guilty pleasure). How could I resist a book about an older woman – a married woman at that, and a younger man – getting paid for his…ahem…services? I couldn’t.

I am usually drawn to full length novels, but I know from his previous book that he does focus a lot on the storyline, and since this is only the first part in the series, I jumped in…and have absolutely no regrets. He is very good at building the tension in a story (which I love) and not just making it wham, bam on every page. With that being said, the chemistry between Grace and Ben is off the charts!

This is not just about a bored, lonely, unappreciated housewife and some gigolo. They both have their reasons for seeking each other out. I won’t even get started with Mr. Robinson…that would take too long! I’m definitely looking forward to finding out what will happen in the next installment!

Well s***. I don't even know where to start.

First of all this man loves torturing me. I've been (im)patiently waiting for this book since I read the first teaser. I might have stayed up all night to read this book after it hit my kindle at midnight.
Second, after all the waiting, this book definitelydid not disappoint. I won't give away any spoilers. You need to read and enjoy every moment for yourself. I will tell you that this book is all kinds of hott. Need new panties and a cold shower hott. Along with that though, it's beautifully written. Seth is such a talented author, you can't help but be sucked right into the story and fall head over heals in love with each character. The man can do sexy thats for sure but the way he puts a story together is pure artist.
Go forth and one click, you'll be hooked on Seth for life.

I have to say, I FLEW through this book. He took a scenario in which I have never come even close too being in and he made it utterly relate-able somehow. This story took me captive and held me until the very end.
This book is dual point of view, which make this also so impressive. The author is a young man and he wrote in the mindset of a woman in her 40's! Now, I'm not in my 40's but damn if it didn't read to realistically.
This is the first in a serial about Ben and Grace and I am already chomping at the bit for the second!

Ben is a young student/fighter who is struggling to take care of his sick Sister Claire and pay the bills, he is given the opportunity to make some extra money to pay the bills. Grace discovers her Husbands infidelity in the worst possible way and decides to seek revenge in the best possible way. I enjoyed reading this book, it has a good storyline, likeable characters and some very steamy scenes, with a cliff hanger ending, I will definitely be reading book 2 in this series.

After reading the blurb I wasn’t so sure to want to read this book, there were few things I don’t like to find in my stories (like betrayals and a too big age gap) but I completely changed my mind when I had a glimpse of few teasers the author posted on his facebook page because it seems like there was a lot more about the characters that I didn’t want to miss.

I REGRET NOTHING!

The story is wonderfully written, it sucked me in since the prologue and kept me captivated until the last word.

Mrs. Robinson character is portrayed so well that I can feel her despair living a fake life without feeling any emotion and Ben is so kind and lovable and you cannot not to get attached to him. I love their connection at the beginning so awkward to become steamy hot.

"Suddenly I realized that whatever was going to happen next, and no matter the reason why it was happening, I didn't want to let go of this feeling. Because after years of existing in shades of grey, I finally felt like I was seeing - no, living - in color.
Suddenly I went back, back, back, back to before everything had become dull and muted and fuzzy like a rainy Sunday evening, back to the days when I got excited about things, when my emotions had a little kick to them, when I didn't walk down the street with a plastic smile and a black heart...Back to when the world felt like NEW YORK."

Thank you for writing this really nice story...now hurry up to give us the sequel please ^^

Great story. Seth King writes wonderful and i loved to read it!

Mrs. Robinson’s life is a very typical one for a desperate wife of a politician. She needed a kick to get her life back, and this was an unintended call from her husband. Before, she lived in books with her fantasy lovers and good white wine. This was the reason, why she decided to get a little recognition by hiring a callboy.

Ben Bradley needs money, because of his sister’s disease. He is young and responsible for her. To earn money, he do cagefightings and all jobs he can get. One day outside his door, a limousine with a lady, whom he knew from a one-night-stand was waiting for him. He got an offer to work as a callboy for well-heeled women.

So Mrs. Robinson and Ben met at this night for the very first time. Both are new to this. Both characters are very well described and I loved that the story is written in Bens POV and Mrs. Robinsons POV. So you can learn a lot about why it comes to this situation. Another bonus are the erotic scenes!

Hope there will be a second part, because this is ends with a cliffhanger!

20 year old Ben needs money in a hurry. He's trying to take care of his disabled sister after his parents flew the coop. Mrs. Robinson is the wife of a congressmen who pays her no attention but has plenty of time for his interns. She's lonely, reads romance novels about beautiful, "talented" youg men and wants some kind of revenge on her husband.

Ben learned a lot from his older neighbor lady in his teens and he decides to put his knowledge to good use when he signs on with an escort agency that matches up younger men to rich, older women. Mrs. Robinson calls the escort service and meets Ben. Its Ben's first job, and Mrs. Robinson's first dalliance outside of marriage, and WOW is it hot! Just imagine your favorite 20 year old book boy friend ringing your doorbell, wanting to be of service and knowing just about every service available.

This book started out a little slow but definitely picked up and was just HOT! It is a cliffhanger with a Mrs. Robinson #2 coming (soon, I hope). This one ended with hubby pulling unannounced into the driveway. A great read!

I read this book in 1 night, it had me hooked from the start , and I loved every page.
Seth King's writing is superb in this book. It's written in dual pov's and both are brilliant and totally believable. Being a similar age to Mrs Robinson, I was wary of how a twenty something man would write in her perspective, and I was impressed.
The story was original, fun, but had a very serious side as well, but most of all, this book was H.O.T!! Seth
King sure knows how to write sex scenes!!!
I am looking forward to the next story in this series, as I was left guessing at the end of it, so let's hope we don't have to wait too long to read it.
I believe Seth King is one to watch in 2015, and I can't wait to see what next for this exciting author.
Recommended for readers that like their leading men hot, and their sex scenes even hotter.

For me yes I liked the book not loved. I am not sure what bothered me the most I liked the relationship between Ben and Grace. But the one between him and Mrs . Jill not so much Idk that was just not something I would fantasize about. But with Grace it felt real like it could happen. I can totally get a lonely house wife and her husband a complete douce bag . I was glad she wanted to get revenge. I do like this authors work I will continue to read his stuff. The way he describes touching a woman and of course the sex scenes its totally different coming from a male author. I can't wait to get the next book.

I really liked the character development and the contrast in the two wounded souls. Their story is every broken person, but it's uniquely and freshly told. So often it's the billionaire and the virgin.. this one is the millionaire kept wife and the young, lost fighter. ..

Seth has a wonderful writing style and sucked me into his story from the get go. I hope he does the second book, because I would love to find out where the story ends. I wish it were longer, I felt it just got going and then... the end... If he writes a book two, I will definitely buy it. I really want to know more of their story.

This book was good, but i had a little struggle getting into it. When i did the book read very easy and suddenly i was finished. :) Im not a big fan of writers writing themselves in the book, direct or through another caracter, it throws me of the story and making me focus more on the author. But i loved the relation between Ben and Mrs Robinson and hope the next book brings them closer :)) Also im hoping for a little more suspension, heartgreaf, anger and romance! Keep writing Seth! *ThumbsUp*

Hot short read that ends with a cliffhanger. One thing that impressed me the most was how Seth was able to write and sound completely different when he was writing Ben's and Grace's povs. Well done, can't wait for book #2.

Mrs Robinson by Seth King was the first book I read of this author and I was impressed not only with the story but his actual style of writing. I fell in love with it.

When Ben Bradley (who feels the struggles financially to take care of his sister) is given an opportunity to make some good money - he struggles with the decision at first....it's a little taboo....a little risky....morally wrong? But when he finally agrees - he meets Mrs Robinson. Oh Mrs Robinson........... you naughty thing!

After finally giving her last F*ck about her husband - she choices to make herself happy....for once in 20 years. Enters Ben Bradley..........

This was a great start to my love of Seth King! This may have been a short read, but in no way does he leave out any details that are needed to make the story pull you in and leave you breathless and wanting more. Seth can write sexy, hot and steamy, but he also writes a story that will captivate you and make you fall in love with his characters.

I look forward to what Seth brings next. Great job sir!
