After reading the blurb I wasn’t so sure to want to read this book, there were few things I don’t like to find in my stories (like betrayals and a too big age gap) but I completely changed my mind when I had a glimpse of few teasers the author posted on his facebook page because it seems like there was a lot more about the characters that I didn’t want to miss.
I REGRET NOTHING!
The story is wonderfully written, it sucked me in since the prologue and kept me captivated until the last word.
Mrs. Robinson character is portrayed so well that I can feel her despair living a fake life without feeling any emotion and Ben is so kind and lovable and you cannot not to get attached to him. I love their connection at the beginning so awkward to become steamy hot.
"Suddenly I realized that whatever was going to happen next, and no matter the reason why it was happening, I didn't want to let go of this feeling. Because after years of existing in shades of grey, I finally felt like I was seeing - no, living - in color.
Suddenly I went back, back, back, back to before everything had become dull and muted and fuzzy like a rainy Sunday evening, back to the days when I got excited about things, when my emotions had a little kick to them, when I didn't walk down the street with a plastic smile and a black heart...Back to when the world felt like NEW YORK."
Thank you for writing this really nice story...now hurry up to give us the sequel please ^^
