The String Cheese Incident kicked off their greatly anticipated fall tour last night at the Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis, MN and threw down a barn burner for the Mini Apple faithful, bringing out a number of classic Cheese tunes, including “Little Hands”, “Valley of The Jig”, Got What He Wanted”, “Black Clouds”, covers of “Freedom Jazz Dance,” a la Eddie Harris and Miles Davis, and even the recently learnt Doobie Brothers’ “Taking it to the Streets”!

Take a look at some fan shot video of “Black Clouds” and “Taking it to the Streets” below:

SCI plays another show at Minneapolis’ Skyway Theatre tonight, but don’t forget about their upcoming Suwannee Hulaween (Oct. 30 – Nov. 1) festival held in Live Oak, FL, featuring three nights of Cheese as well as Pretty Lights, Primus, Odesza, STS9, Slightly Stoopid and GRiZ, just to name a few. This is sure to be one of the most exciting events of the Fall calendar!
