How to Overcome the Problem of Being Preoccupied with Life

Are you preoccupied with the things of life?  Do you find yourself sometimes being intensely driven?

It seems like most of us lead such busy lives filled with tasks, meetings, and people.

The problem with being preoccupied is that sometimes we can find ourselves being impatient, irritable, and imbalanced.

When we become this way and we don’t make a positive correction, then many times we end up with regrets.

I read an article recently titled, “Five Regrets From People On Their Deathbeds, Revealed By A Nurse.”

It was a phenomenal article that revealed the five regrets that a nurse heard from the patients that she cared for.

The regrets that she heard most often were:

1.  “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”
2.  “I wish I didn’t work so hard.”
3.  “I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.”
4.  “I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.”
5.  “I wish that I had let myself be happier.”

A life lived without regret is a life lived with Jesus

How to Live a Life Free From Regret

If you’ve become too preoccupied with life, then you might end up with some of these regrets on your deathbed as well.

The wonderful folks at Yes He is, have made a fantastic new video.

The video is about a young man (Mark), who is preoccupied with life. Mark is so busy, that he is easily agitated and irritable.

But then while sitting on a bench at a park, an older man sits beside him.

The older man asks Mark a series of questions that cause him to think about something he had never thought about before.

This thing is something that every person finds themselves thinking about at some point in their life.

Then this older man asks Mark this one question that absolutely blew me away! You won’t believe what it is.

I believe that Mark becomes enlightened because of this one question.

So click on the button below and go watch the video. And if you enjoy it as much I did, then share the video on Facebook or Twitter.
