Both top threes were exactly the same before and after this weekend’s action.  The men’s top triad again went Delhi, Harper, Montgomery-Rockville, while the women’s leading three was again Mohawk, Suffolk County, and Delhi.

The national title pictures are getting extremely clear.  The men’s rankings saw just three swaps plus No. 24 Fashion Institute of Technology joined the rankings.  Nos. 7 and 8 Howard and Herkimer County, Nos. 18 and 19 Massasoit and Valley Forge, and Nos. 21 and 22 Triton and CCRI were the six squads to switch places.

No. 4 Rowan-Gloucester, No. 5 Mohawk Valley, No. 6 Suffolk County, No. 9 Queensborough, and No. 10 Finger Lakes were the other men’s top ten teams.

Similarly, six women’s teams traded rankings this week, and everyone else stayed in their place in their hierarchy.  Nos. 4 and 5 Montgomery-Rockville and Rowan Gloucester, Nos. 15 and 16 CCRI and Middlesex County (N.J.), and Nos. 17 and 18 Nassau and Bergen were the three pairs of women’s teams that traded rankings.

The rest of the women’s top ten was No. 6 Harper, No. 7 Kingsborough, No. 8 Herkimer County, No. 9 Fashion Institute, and No. 10 Queensborough.

Rankings will be released each Wednesday between now and the May 7-9 NJCAA Division III Championships in Utica, New York.
