Welcome to another edition of the Hockeybuzz hotstove.

With recent comments from Jaromir Jagr that he'd be open to a trade from New Jersey if that's something Lou Lamoriello wanted to entertain, we share our thoughts on where the best fit may be for the living legend.

Todd Cordell: Anaheim Ducks

I'm going to go with the Ducks on this one.

Nobody doubts their star talent, but after Perry (and this year Matt Beleskey) they don't really have an undisputed consistent top-6 winger they can rely upon.

Enter Jaromir Jagr.

At 42 years of age he leads the Devils in points, and has been their best possession forward to date. The Ducks have struggled a little bit in that regard, and there's no doubt he'd be of help.

While he's not a physical player, he's elite in terms of protecting the puck, cycling, etc. and he could put up a nice chunk of points if given the chance to play with talent such as Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry.

Will Anaheim trade for him? Chances are they won't, but I think he'd be a very good fit on that team.

Ryan Wilson: Penguins

The storyline speaks for itself.

Furthermore the advanced statistics back this up as a solid hockey move as well.

Jagr is the leading scorer and possession forward on the Devils. His job with the Devils will be tougher than the one he has on the Penguins. Sid and Geno will open up space that Jagr hasn't seen since playing with Giroux.

The hockey world deserves this reunion. Childhood me deserves this reunion!

Tim Chiasson: San Jose

It'd be too easy to say Pittsburgh - which would be the Disney version of Jagr's perfect ending - so I'm going to be a homer and say San Jose.

Imagine Jagr on Thornton's wing with Pavelski on the other side. How many beautiful plays could you fit in one shift? Jagr would bring an offensive boost to the Sharks top six but it's his leadership and decorated past that would mean the most to San Jose.

The Sharks tried to bring in experienced postseason depth players but that failed miserably. Jagr is the big fish veteran that could help push them through the Western Conference and keep cooler minds on the forefront. Jagr gets a chance to win and San Jose gets the same.
