CAMPER SCHOLARSHIP MONEY DONATED BY CAMPERS
In the four weeks of Resident Camps, campers have the option to donate their excess Trading Post money to the RMMC Camper Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund helps cover fees for campers to ensure that cost is not a barrier to come to camp. After the last week of Resident Camp, we calculated the amount of donations made by campers towards the scholarship fund. In total, campers have donated $473.59! One camper made a comment while she was leaving at the end of the week that she loved coming to camp every year and wanted to do what she could to help other have the chance to come. Camp is blessed by the campers that come who help make RMMC a great place to be each summer. Of course we might be a bit biased, but we agree with a 4&5th grader camper’s comment on his evaluation that said RMMC is “The best camp in the world!”

HELP WITH THE FINAL STRETCH
What a summer it's been thus far!  This week, we're enjoying community with Family Camp II participants AND the good folks from Allensville, PA (volunteers with Mennonite Disaster Service). Joined with our summer staff (and other volunteers) combines for a total of 150+ people being served during meal times.  The Rocky Mountain ministry is alive and well! The reason for sharing this is that WE NEED YOUR HELP! The time has come to dig down and see the Pleiades building project to completion (November 1 target date). As you have may have observed, the pace of financial gifts, volunteer support and building progress has been nothing short of amazing thus far, but to get the job done will require a renewed effort. The next three months will require an extra commitment of financial support (gifts of all sizes make a difference), and volunteer support by skilled builders and unskilled helpers. With drywall hanging and finish carpentry (wood trim, fixture installation, etc.) to come, we welcome those with construction experience to make time in the next three months to join us for a day, a week, or a month. We need YOU! Thanks again for your part in the construction of this exciting and needed facility for RMMC - now and in the years to come!
