WALKING SCHOOL BUS VOLUNTEER NEEDED Be a Friend! We need a Volunteer Parent to lead the Alamo Walking School Bus. Easy and fun, lead students from Rochambeau Playground or a playground of your choice to Alamo once a month. Safe Routes to Schools provides vests and stop signs. By decreasing car traffic you are helping the environment and making the area around Alamo safer for everyone! Interested parents should see Ms. Vivien Pellegrini in the office or contact parent volunteer, Stephanie Kwan: sskwan001@hotmail.com.
ALAMO'S ANNUAL HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL
Please join us for Alamo's 35th Annual Halloween Carnival on October 30th from 1:45pm to 4:30pm. It will start with a costume parade at 1:30pm. There will be food, games, a climbing wall, a giant inflatable slide, face painting … fun for all ages! Invite your friends, family and neighbors. Each classroom will be responsible for running a booth, so please sign and take a short shift. This is a good time to meet some of your child's new friends and other Alamo parents. In addition, Alamo PTA store will be open, come to shop and support our school.
