So imagine our excitement when we heard she's teamed up with Nike to create a 15-minute workout you can get for free on the Nike Training Club app,  full of all the moves she swears by.

Ellie told us:

"The app is all the exercises I've used during my training for quite a long time  – the workouts that have been the most effective for me. I could probably [have created] an hour and a half long workout, but to me these are the things I feel have changed my body the most over the past few years."

The 15-minute workout – called Tighten and Tone – features Ellie demo-ing her favourite resistance moves (think side plank leg lifts and pike press ups) and cardio intervals drills (hello burpees and high knee runs). Even though it's only short, the workout left us sweaty and sore in the best way possible.

I treat fitness as an essential, important part of my life.

In addition to testing out the workout at the UK launch (where Ellie performed wearing the most EPIC red Nike Air Max trainers), we also had the chance to sit down with her to find out more about her attitude to staying fit and healthy. And we love that, even though Ellie's super dedicated to health, she's also very realistic: 

"I treat fitness as an essential part of my life. I see it as [important] as a meal time, or something else I have to do, like go to a meeting. But I'm also realistic. If I land in LA in the afternoon and I'm exhausted, I'll be honest with myself. If my body is not feeling it then I'll listen to it. I don't go crazy."
