WICHITA FALLS, Texas – With less than two weeks away from opening their 2015 campaign, the Midwestern State University volleyball team will be holding several events for fans to interact and see the Mustangs in action Friday and Saturday at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

The MSU coaching staff and players will take part in a Meet and Greet and sign posters for fans beginning at 5 p.m. Friday before concluding the evening with the Alumni Game at 6 p.m. Admission is free to all of Friday's events.

The Mustangs also welcome children ages 13 and under to take part in the PIT (Pony in Training) Clinic from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ligon Coliseum. The free clinic is for PIT members only, but fans can sign up for membership during Friday's festivities.

The Mustangs are under the direction of first-year head coach Natalie Rawson, a former MSU assistant coach from 2010-12. Midwestern returns four starters from the 2014 season including senior outside hitter Hunter Porter, who paced the team with 2.48 kills per set. Junior middle blocker Sarah Garfield earned second team All-Lone Star Conference honors after averaging 2.16 kills and 0.97 blocks per set.
 
Other returning starters include sophomore middle blocker Angel Summers (1.67 kills, 0.84 blocks per set) and sophomore outside hitter Addison Semer (1.43 kills per set).
 
Juniors Cody Moore (0.86 kills per set) and Madelyn Johnson (2.90 digs per set) as well as sophomores Meghan Bettis (1.42 kills per set), Leah Lychock (0.84 kills per set) and Morgan Haire (1.37 digs per set) are also back for the Mustangs.

Midwestern is set to open the 2015 season Friday, Sept. 4 at the Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott Oredigger Volleyball Classic, hosted by Colorado Mines, in Golden, Colorado.
