Fire Watcher

Elise Nicholson is a fire witch and plays a mean guitar but she’s lonely and skating the edge of control and then to make things worse – a Talisman capable of blowing the city sky-high lands in her lap along with a Watcher in this spellbinding paranormal romance. Remy is a Hunter of Talismans but he’s been assigned to stand guard over a smart-mouthed fire witch who hates Watchers and the readers can’t help but get caught up in this inferno as things quickly heats to explosive proportions between Remy, Elise and the Dark. The chemistry between Remy and Elise is hot enough on its own but add in Elise’s fiery temper and readers gets singed as this relationship is one that could backfire before it even really gets started with emotional issues fanning the flames. These strong, bewitching characters grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning while the fast paced smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. The Dark has plans for Elise and the Talisman which places Elise and her friends, right in the path of danger building excitement and expectations throughout the story with the conflicting emotions that Elise feels for Remy adding lots of additional spice. The scenes are well written with vivid details that bring the story to life and make it easy for the reader to become absorbed in the story while the intriguing events ensure that there is never a dull moment. There was no way that I could put this story down once I began reading it, it was full of intriguing magic and such vibrant emotional demons that I couldn’t help but feel for Elise and Remy but especially Elise so be prepared for some sad moments as well as exciting action and hoorah moments and I can’t wait to find out what happens next in this fascinating series. 4 ½ STARS
