Fight Hunger Today
#30Cans

September is Hunger Action Month and to help spread awareness and make hunger disappear in our community, we’re asking volunteers to collect 30 cans of food; one can for each day in September. Once you have collected at least 30 cans, share a picture of your collection with us on Facebook with the caption, "We CAN tackle hunger! I collected ...cans for @Northern Virginia Family Service #30cans." You can arrange /design the cans any way you like and all cans will be distributed to families and individuals served at our Hunger Resource Center.

Hunger exists in our community year-round and more than 32,000 individuals face food insecurity in Prince william Coutny alone. Northern Virginia Family Service's Hunger Resource Center provides food to nearly 10,000 of those people.

Donations should be delivered to 10056 Dean Drive, Manassas, VA by September 30th.

If you are interested in participating, contact Alyssa Lee at 571.748.2871 or at alee@nvfs.org
