After each week's game we'll designate five game ball recipients as top performers from Auburn.

Here are our selections after Auburn's 31-10 win over Memphis in the Birmingham Bowl (listed alphabetically):

Cornerback Carlton Davis
Made a team-high 11 tackles and tipped a pass in the end zone that resulted in an interception.

Wide receiver Marcus Davis
Had six punt returns for 88 yards, including a 56-yard return

Quarterback Jeremy Johnson
Came off the bench to deliver two touchdowns, both in the second half. The Montgomery native threw a 11-yard scoring pass to Jason Smith and ran in a score from five yards out.

Running back Kerryon Johnson
Had six carries for 24 yards with a touchdown and a 37-yard catch on throw off a fake punt.

Running back Jovon Robinson
Had 27 carries for 126 yards with a touchdown en route to being named game MVP.

Honorable mentions

Blake Countess made six tackles with a pass breakup and blocked a field goal. ... Tray Matthews had an interception. ... Carl Lawson, Dontavius Russell and Devaroe Lawrence were all effective at creating pressure on Paxton Lynch.
