4.5 stars -- Another fabulous beta read!!

Solid conclusion to the Amelia/Aidan trilogy! I really appreciated all the little tie-ins with things from the previous 2 books. And holy cow did some things go in a completely different direction than I was expecting! Totally kept me on my toes.

I always find it difficult to review the final books in a series, b/c I don't want to give things away!! Plus, at this point I think my reading slump has instead turned into a review slump where I'm just not sure what to write to convey my feelings.

So my feelings.... Well, this book picks up right where we left off at the end of Bound by Spells. The chemistry between Amelia and Aidan is still delicious. Amelia wasn't always my favourite heroine, she could be a bit too...stubborn? No, that's not it. Regardless, she's still that Amelia in this one, but she's tempered a bit more with patience and thoughtfulness. I appreciated the consistency in her character but showing that growth as well. Aidan was actually a bit more alpha male than I was expecting. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it caught me off guard here and there.

You know who was the surprise winner for me?? MICAH!!! I have been transformed into a card carrying Micah fan. That boy just walked in, grabbed my heart and wouldn't let go. Even when his story went in a slightly different direction than I was expecting, I was still all in. And Baleon became so much more too!! Definitely my surprising fave characters of this book. It didn't hurt that we got a few chapters from Micah's perspective.

All in all this was a winner for me. And if my guess is right, then I can't wait for a spin off!!

I read bound by spells then straight after Bound By Prophecy so I was very lucky in that way and what an amazing conclusion to the series.

I completely adore this series! Stormy is one of my favourite authors she takes you on an adventure and you don’t want to come back! its tricky reviewing a third book without spoiling the whole series so lets talk about MICAH first. The love of my life! haha he’s amazing! my favourite character in the series! Stormy writes him so well! she’s makes him so addicting.

Aidan and Amelia's story is so captivating and I’m so sad to say goodbye to them! The characters grow so well in this final instalment. I love the Multiple POV’s. I enjoy that so much from books! sometimes you can just want to be in another characters brain for awhile and my god did we in this book. Stormy has written Aidan and Amelia's scenes so beautifully that I had myself swooning through out. So much detail and love has been put into these two characters and you can defiantly see that while reading. Sometimes heat ache but sometimes glorious.

The plot is once again just as amazing as the first two novels. Better in fact. It was cutting edge, suspenseful and sometimes spine chilling. I think Stormy has once again written a jump out of your seat novel. Such a fascinating memorable read that I will never forget.

haven't even finished book 2 yet but i know I'll be reading this as soon as I can. I kinda wish there was a fourth book though because right now I don't want it to end!

REVIEW

*An ARC copy was sent to me by the author in exchange for an honest review, however all thoughts and opinions are my own*

BUT LIKE....WHAT ARE WORDS? HOW CAN I DESCRIBE THIS READING EXPERIENCE? WHY IS THIS OVER?

Okay, so let me try to review this. It's like, 3 days later, but my emotions are still denying the fact that this series is over.

Let's talk plot

Okay so major plot development and it was definitely not something I was not expecting.

The introduction between new characters and older ones had less bumps than I expected so we were able to move on with the story pretty quickly instead of focusing on everyone getting reacquainted again. Personally, there was less of a plot focus on magic because it was well developed in the first 2 books. There was a surprising moment that nearly knock you off your chair but other than that it's pretty much done in the magical department. The characters have grown a lot over the past few books and this book is really their moment to shine. You see how much they have grown and how the responsibility that was given to them has really matured them. Yes, there were moments when it was all too overwhelming, especially for Amelia, but they are still extremely young and everything has happened in a very short period of time. I think it's like 2 months or something? I don't expect anyone to grow up that fast.

The ending literally killed me. I do kind of wish there was a larger battle, but honestly I think the way it all ended fit the characters perfectly.

Let's talk love

Amelia and Aidan are finally reunited and it's so incredibly adorable. She hasn't really been with him after he discovered he was an AniMage (spoiler? not really if you read the past few books I guess..) so seeing them together in their magical bonding was extremely awesome! Especially since she experienced hope at the fact that he could be her mate. While the sexual tension wasn't as intense, it was definitely there but always in the worse moments ever! Just jump each other already my goddddd.

Bethany and Micah's reunion wasn't what I was expecting. I'll just leave it like that unless you want to see the spoiler? Do not recommend.

That brotherly sisterly love was still present in this book although it was a bit rocky at first because of events in the previous books however, as mentioned in my review of Bound by Duty, Cole will love Amelia no matter what and that was extremely evident in this book. I feel like their bond was heavily tested and each time they came out stronger than before.

Overall

I think this series is truly captivating and enchanting because of the plot and the characters that makes these books stick with you. If you haven't grown attached to the characters after reading the first book, then don't worry because they grow on you. I'm so thankful to the author, Stormy Smith, that I was able to read this series and live through the emotions and difficulties of each character. It's a truly unforgettable series and I hope that everyone that gave it a chance is able to have an amazing reading experience!

Yeah I know that was sappy but hey, I did say my emotions are all over the place ok?

This is gonna be so hard to keep short and keep all the spoilers out!
This book is a YA, third book in the series. I received an arc of this book. Be jealous. :)
One thing that immediately stood out was the fact that we get multiple POV’s! I love being able to be inside all the different characters heads. It was so fricking great!
Her writing has advanced significantly since her first book. Her first book was great, don’t get me wrong, her second book was even better. And this one, well, I am excited to see how she can top this one.
She just makes the characters better and more complex, and her plotlines are beautifully choreographed. They are interweaved together flawlessly and her loose ends are tied up.
Even the minute ones that I didn’t even think about, for instance, when bethany was travelling with them I didn’t think about where her family thought she was because I was so engrossed in the story but she addressed that issue and it just made like her writing more.
These characters are young characters but they are not stupid, they have always been strong; since the beginning of the series. Their growth has been intense at times but they have never stopped believing in each other and being there.
I will say this, I was a bit let down with Micah’s story arc. He is and has always been my favorite. And if I’m being completely honest, I wanted him and Amelia to get together from the very beginning.
I like Aidan too, he is wonderful, he’s very strong and treats Amelia equally. This stood out for me because as an alpha he is very intimidating to others. He resists that within himself. I love a self-aware man.
Bethany’s story took a squirly turn for me. I was honestly not expecting her to go in that direction. And Cole! I had a tentative relationship with his character throughout this series but he really came through for me in this book. I was blindsided with his direction as well. In a great way.
Although the way that Amelia resolved the keeper power threw me, the story as a whole was like an exquisite symphony. Highs and lows but never stopping, building and building until the crescendo bursts forth with all the sounds coming together in a perfect harmony.

Favorite Quotes:

The demons of your past are never far away. You can never outrun them-you can only face them head on and fight them to the death.

“I hate you” I hissed at Aidan. “You do not,” he goaded me. “You think I’m goooorgeous. You want to kiiiiss me.’

“Bethany?” I questioned. I waved a hand in the empty space in front of me and felt something I instantly knew I shouldn’t have. I had felt that particular part of her just once, and had to get her permission first. I started to apologise when Bethany’s invisible palms connected with my chest, shoving me back.

AMAZING CONCLUSIN TO AN AWESOME TRILOGY! This book was everything I hoped it would be and much more!
Bound by Prophecy is a strong 5 star book that leaves a reader crying while saying goodbye (or see you later maybe) to this wonderful world and unforgettable characters!
Everything wrapped up pretty nicely but still open for possible future work. This book is full of unexpected twists and turns that leave me wondering if anyone but Stormy Smith could have pulled this off! Looking back at the whole trilogy I can really see how much the characters developed and my love for them grew. I highly enjoyed the multiple POVs and how Stormy Smith took us into the depths of the characters' minds! Now I'm only left with a bitter sweet feeling in my heart after reading this fantastic series

*SPOILER-Y NOTE*

Let me just express how sad I am about MICAH AND BETHANY! They were my otp and 2 of my 4 favorite characters (the other ones are Baleon and Tragar)! I think they completed each other and although I do like Bethany and Cole/possible Micah and Willow I believe full heartedly Michany(?) is the real deal!

This book was everything I hoped it would be and more!! Such a great conclusion to an amazing series!! I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading, wondering what was going to happen next. Amelia was so amazing in this book, she really grew into herself and became what I'd hoped she be. And Aidan, oh how I love him! I love Amelia and Aidan's relationship and how I'd evolved in this book. So happy with how it turned out! And you know who I ended up really rooting for in this book, Micah. He became one of my favorites in this book and I really hope more is written about him, I feel like his story isn't over yet! As you can tell I loved it and recommend this series to everyone!

I have waited with bated breath for this book to be released! I must have managed to do something right in my life because I was lucky and blessed enough to receive an ARC of this beauty!

I thoroughly enjoyed Stormy's creation! She has outdone herself with this book and her growth as a writer is overtly evident. Some things were not as they had initially appeared and new revelations and character growth made for some very interesting twists. There was not a single thing about this book that I didn't love - well maybe one but I won't say what!!!

Be prepared to set aside the time you will need to start and finish this one, you will not want to put it down!

I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.
This was a fantastic follow up to book 2! Amelia, Aiden, Rhi, Bethany, and my favorite Micah are all intricately intertwined as they attempt to control the Keeper and destroy the Queen's rule. Bethany has delivered some of the best lines in the series and this is no exception, with true laugh out loud moments. I really liked the pace, action, up and down emotional tugs, and some very unexpected situations/ reveals. I was in the beginning stages of a book hangover, until I got to the author's note at the end- do not skip reading it, but not until you've read the whole book! Storm-troopers unite :)

Just like Stormy's first two books in the Bound Series, Prophecy had me constantly wishing I could read faster because I couldn't wait to see what happened in the next chapter. There were several times I thought "Wait, whaaaat???" when I wasn't expecting the twists in this beautiful story. I was pleased to find the truth behind several of the characters and like other reviewers have mentioned, the character development throughout the series is amazing. I hope this turns into a movie because I want to own it AND the soundtrack!

Although the start of this book was a little drawn out, there was a pivotal moment that accelerated the story forward and never let up. The end gave closure, yet left enough open to keep me wanting more from the series. Highly recommend the entire series!

Bound by Prophecy is the third installment in the Bound series by Stormy Smith. Like its predecessor, it picks up where the second book left off – straight into the action.
Amelia had fallen into a kind of coma after the battle at Cresthaven and Aidan could only reach her in his animal form.

I felt that I could have used a quick reminder or short summary of what happened in the previous books, even though I read them, but unlike the other two which I read almost simultaneously, there were several months between the second and third books.

Bound by Prophecy is more focused on Aidan and Amelia's relationship, which means there is more romance than the previous books. It's still a clean novel, but I sometimes felt I needed less holding hands and kissing and more moving forward with the plot, which has several twists and turns that I doubt anyone saw coming.
"His fear washed over me like the first swim of summer, the water like ice until you're fully submerged."

Quick-paced, the novel shifts between three perspectives this time, namely: Amelia's, Aidan's and Micah's. We also get to see the characters from book two more in-depth, especially Baleon and Micah.

When the characters started travelling, I got confused, especially since there was Cresthaven and Syria. What was in Syria and how did they know? This part was a big question mark for me especially since I didn't remember it being mentioned in the second book – it could have been there but my memory fails me. Also, why is their home in Syria not Cresthaven?

There were several instances in the novel that I felt Amelia was selfish, which is understandable and an important aspect in her character as a to-be leader, still sometimes I felt it was a bit much.
There is also a lot of speculation as to Amelia's powers and her Keeper power, which has been a bit of a vague subject since the first book.
"I'm not part of some destiny or prophecy. What I am is a curse."

One of the most likeable characters in all three books is Amelia's best friend Bethany, AKA "B". Her character is light, funny and sometimes the voice of reason. One of my favourite quotes was when she was reprimanding Amelia.
"Do you know what that means, Miss 'nobody likes me, I should go eat worms'? That means he doesn't hold it against you. And if he doesn't hold it against you, you damn well can't hold it against yourself."

There is also the strained relationship between Micah and Bethany, who dated briefly before Amelia was forced to be with Micah (end of book 1 & most of book 2). Still there were some indications of hope.
"Micah walked slowly toward Bethany, as cautious as a zookeeper approaching a big cat, and likely for a good reason."

Bound by Prophecy is filled with beautiful quotes and speeches by a variety of characters.
Here Cole tells Amelia about their father's choices:
"He looked at me, and said, 'Cole, there are times when you have to rip your own heart out to show it how to beat.' I thought he was crazy, but I get it now. We were his heart. And what he had to do to us tore him up, but we had to learn how to beat alone."

One of the characters that develops significantly in Bound by Prophecy is Micah, who moves from a prince put down by his mother to a strong leader.
The parts narrated from his viewpoint are interesting, quick and calculated. He doesn't have time to lose and the character development is clear. His speeches were among the best in the novel. Below is the confrontation scene between him and his mother, Queen Julia.

"Power is held by those who take it. It is kept by those who wield it unflinchingly. It is earned by those who are willing to compromise anything to achieve their purpose."
"No mother," I interjected, "that is where you are the one who has it wrong. Power is earned by those refuse to compromise their ideals and beliefs. It is kept by those who put the greater good before themselves. It is held by those who are supported and believed in. Power is merely having the resources to accomplish your objectives, and it is fleeting to those who throw people away like garbage when they don't conform.
"Power is celebrated and revered by those who benefit from it," I continued. "You have maintained your power through coercion and fear, and that is why you are dying. You couldn't sustain your power because it was never meant for this purpose. You are dying because your life is not worth the air you need to breathe. You're dying because you are evil in the world needs rid of you."

Although Bound by Prophecy was not my favourite book in the series, I enjoyed the first and second books more, it still earns a 3.5-star rating and is an interesting, fast-paced conclusion to the series – which Stormy Smith has said she might write new books using other characters 

Note: I know this review is long overdue – I finished the book in time but I did not have time to write the review. My apologies for the delay.

Note II: I received a free copy of Bound by Prophecy from the author and as part of a blog tour in exchange for an honest review.

BOUND BY PROPHECY BY: STORMY SMITH A JOINT REVIEW FROM BOOKWORM COALITION!! Wow. Bound by Prophecy, the much anticipated ending to the Bound series...I feel like this is usually the point where I tell you how bittersweet this ending was, because while it was AWESOME, it was also the END. But here's the thing, I can't say it was anything other than sweet. Smith did a wonderful job wrapping everything up while still leaving other story lines open for more to come in the future, which I LOVED! So you really got the feeling that while this particular story line has come to it's end, the fantastic world that has been created here is not finished yet.

I thought I had a good idea of what was going to happen in this book before hand, but let me tell you it went about things in a very different way than I had anticipated. I thoroughly enjoyed some of the twists and where they took the story as a whole. Even one of the romance plot lines threw me for a loop, but I actually thought it made a lot of sense in the end, and it made me super excited for the way that it left a certain someone open for new and thrilling possibilities! It was really fabulous to see everyone come back together in the end. I loved that you got lots of Aidan and Amelia time. Even while things were moving forward full force, there was plenty of growth and sweet moments between the two lovebirds which I appreciated.

Now we desperately need to talk about Micah *ahem...Jennifer*

It's no secret that Micah has been my championed underdog in this story since book one, which is really saying something since he definitely made some mistakes and was a part of things that made his alliances seem sketchy. But I KNEW in my heart that he was a good guy and he would come through it all on the right side! And if you've read our previous reviews here at Bookworm Coalition then you already know that Jen and I have never seen eye to eye when it comes to dear Micah.

NOW after the dust has settled, the million dollar question I am dying to know....what say you now Jennifer????!!!

Now seems as good of a time as any to hand over the reigns to Jen and let her tell you her thoughts on everything (like her newfound Micah love!)... NOOOO!!

Ok, so maybe, just maybe I like Micah a tiny small itty bitty more. Doesn't change everything that has happened in this series. That's all you get about that. I have been burned too many times by Micah and it takes way more than a few hundred pages to change my mind. I mean, really...even Bethany (literally all I heard was, "Yes, Tricia, you were right all along!")

HA!!
I will not even tell you!

Let me just say that Charlie and Onyx...mind blown!
There are so many different things that happened in here that I would love to shout out to the world and spoil the whole damn thing for you, but I think this one needs to be a surprise.

I'm not going to lie, I had a certain expectation before I started this book. I did not get what I was expecting, I got something that was completely different. One of my all time favorite things made an appearance towards the end, and quite honestly it was the one thing that I loved most.

There is so much character growth in this book. People maturing, and taking charge. Doing what needs to be done to take their world back. The evil of the Queen and the surprisingly deceptive Rhi. Reading what the Queen didn't know was almost heartbreaking. Then of course, I remembered that she was batshit crazy!

I love how this book has been left an open ending. Bound by Prophecy was an ending to a chapter in the lives of Aidan, Amelia, Micah, Bethany, Cole, Baleon and all the others we have come to love. Prophecy is not the end of this amazing world, there is still a whole world of Immortals that is waiting to be explored.

Thank you so much Stormy Smith for allowing us to be included in this amazing journey! Yes, thank you Stormy, and I know I speak for both of us when I say we really look forward to what you come up with next!

Read more of my reviews at Cornerfolds.com!

The Bound series was one of the first I had the opportunity to review as a blogger, which means it holds a very special place in my heart. I read books one and two as parts of blog tours and was lucky enough to also receive the final book, which I have been saving for this event. I'm happy to say that Bound by Prophecy was a fantastic conclusion to the trilogy!

Book three of this series picks up right after we left off at the end of Bound by Spells. Amelia has to learn to control the power within her while new and old characters rally as they prepare to do what they have to in order to end conflict and bring peace to their people. As always, I loved Amelia. Of course, she had obstacles to overcome in Prophecy, but she was just as strong and capable as I remembered her. I also loved the romance between Amelia and Aidan! Oh, and Bethany and Amelia will forever be one of my favorite friendships. Every single one of the characters grew in this book and I am really hoping to see more of them in the future!

The beginning of Bound by Prophecy is pretty slow and I'll admit it took me awhile to get into it. I can mostly forgive this though, since there was a lot of important information to be shared. There is also quite a bit of drama during this first bit of the book. Once things picked up though, and the action started happening, it was hard to put it down! I loved the mystery and the fact that there were always more twists that I never quite saw coming!

The world, though already well established in the first two books, definitely continued to come alive in Prophecy. Although it is fantasy set within the real world, I always felt like I had a good grasp on things. Stormy Smith does a fantastic job of setting up her magical system and conveying it in a way that makes it believable.

Something I really enjoyed about Bound by Prophecy was that the ending wrapped up pretty much every loose end. I hate when a series leaves me with questions and that definitely didn't happen here! There was kind of a weird appearance at the end that I definitely wasn't expecting, but then, there were a lot of unexpected surprises! All of that's to say I thought the ending was great, although I'd love to get a little bit more insight into Micah's life after the end... Thankfully this ending did at least leave the option for another Micah story in the future if the author decides to grace us with it!

I don't want to say much more for fear of spoiling anything, but I really enjoyed Bound by Prophecy. This series has been fantastic from the beginning, despite some slow spots here and there. I love the relationships, both romantic and not, and I'm always surprised at least a couple times in each book! I definitely recommend this series to urban fantasy fans!

We’re back with Amelia, Aiden, Micah and the rest of the gang. Amelia knows what she has to do in order to bring all the people back together so that the immortal races can find peace, and Julia’s reign of terror can be put to an end. Aiden has his obligations too, and not just to Amelia. But he knows that her end game is what is best for everyone in the end, even if it costs them right now. So, they head off on their trek in this final installment of their story. (Worry not, my faithful, Ms. Smith said she’s not finished with this universe, only Aiden and Amelia’s story.)

Since Aiden uttered those words that I quoted from the first book, he’s been an awesome character. Like one of those, you tell you sons they need to be like. Amelia is a strong female character with only minor waffling. I think it is because I’m in my 40s and these characters are young, but the whole “does he really love me, or is it this fated thing only” really gets to me. And while, I do understand, it doesn’t make me not want to choke them when it’s happening. Luckily, it’s only a very SMALL issue in this book and is quickly resolved. I’ve read series where this is throughout the ENTIRE FREAKING series and it REALLY bugs me. Other than that, I loved this book. It was a perfect conclusion to this part of the series. I will say, though, there were a few things that surprised me. Some, I had NO clue that it was going to lead that way, though in hindsight, it was perfect and made things all the better.

Ms. Smith’s world of immortals is engrossing and all encompassing. It feels natural and that all the things we see and feel while we’re in her world are organic and nothing is forced or contrived. I can’t wait to read the Christmas novella that she recently put out, and who she’s going to write about next. (PLEASE let it be Micah!!!) So, now that I’ve finished this particular part of the series, would I suggest it? I would. Get Bound by Duty, but make sure you have room in your budget for Bound by Spells and Bound by Prophecy.

This book was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.

This was AMAZING! we couldn't have asked for a better ending to this series! Stormy has given us ultimate love, sacrifice, heartache, and a epic battles between good and bad! what more could we really want right?

I loved this series! I loved the characters and I hate to see a series end but if it does I like to see it all end with a bang and flourish like this one! I was really surprised by somethings that happened in the end but happy for them all the same. Stormy really threw in some elements that surprised and shocked us all I think.

The Amelia and Aidan romance blew me away in the other books but in this one wow it was epic to say the least! I loved how Stormy described every facet of it and how it made you see exactly in your head the colours and know exactly what it would look like and feel like so much so you could see it come right up off the page. Their love was eternal and the most beautiful thing in the book!

If you haven't read this book or this series yet you are missing out! make sure to get your copy now!

4.5 for the whole story...

I love love Amelia and Aidan... I liked at first how she kept fighting him, the only thing I didn't like was how she didn't fully trust what they had for a really long time!

I loved all the other characters I love that I truly got to know them

Great story ;)

Not the last book

Excellent first three books, I can't say enough about them. One thing I don't like, but was not planned by the Author, is I don't like starting any type of series until it's finished. I do look forward to the next books, I loved the first three books.

Amelia has grown! I was worried going in that the book would fall flat for getting us through Amelia's Keeper powers. Yet we get something a little different other than her finding a way to work with what she has. I enjoyed this. She's come into her own with help from someone we didn't expect. She finally faces the magic and love that she's been scared of for so long. We even end with a fight that's not as deadly as it could have been. It moves quick and keeps us listening yet with Amelia and Aiden in the place they are now, it doesn't need to be bloody. It's more than that.

I really liked this ending!

****FULL REVIEW****
*I requested to review a copy of this audiobook for an honest review from the author or narrator.

Amelia has locked herself away inside her mind. It's all she can do to keep the Keeper from harming anyone she loves. Aidan is determined to get her back to herself, even with the terrible news of what happened in the battle at Cresthaven. The whole group of friends have many heartaches to overcome, but they will need to and work together to stop Queen Julia and free all the mages to live as they should. Once Amelia learns about the magic she carries in her, she will have to make a choice to do what she wants or what is needed.

Kristin is always a treat for me to listen to. Her favorite voice for me, Bethany and her sweet southern accent. And oh, the strong personality for Bethany that pops with the accent. lol. And Micah's accent. I love it! This is a great cast that Kristin makes fun to listen to and easy to differentiate the characters as they speak. The different characters personalities and attitudes ever present in their voices. Male and females are all different in accent, tone, and feels as we listen. Oh! When two sing a song, we get both voices! The harmony of the two together. I love when we get these little extras that makes the story feel more alive with the characters.

I was so relieved to get back to Amelia and Aidan's world. Amelia was left in a bit of a secluded spot and I wanted to know if she gets out along with if they figure out Aidan is her special person. In the beginning, I was surprised that Amelia and Aidan seem to know they are the prophesied couple. It almost seemed as no one knew who her 'man' would be and that he'd have to be found at the end of Bound by Spells. But, we get back into the story here, where a few of the characters are left in moments of pain; physical or emotional.

In the beginning everything is tough and people are sad or scared and hurting in some way. We start to see a small flicker of light spark when trying to find a way of helping Amelia. Having Amelia moving among the people would influence moral, giving a solid, positive direction to things. But things don't happen as hoped and Amelia feels she's a curse more than a prophecy that the people need. It's sad and some huge mountains for the characters to figuratively climb to overcome.

Not only do we journey through the prophecy of what's to come of Amelia and Aidan, but we also get to the root of Amelia's Keeper power mystery. It moves quick and keeps us listening yet with Amelia and Aidan in the place they are now, it doesn't need to be bloody. It's more than that.

I really liked this ending!

A wonderful YA read of letting yourself love and accept who you are. Even when in battles, it doesn't always have to end ugly. There are options and choices in life that you get to pick from even if it doesn't seem that way. You need to accept and live by your choices.

I love the feel of the theme in this story. How Amelia is bound by what was set in motion, through prophecy, for her. But in the ending, all learn they are not bound by others but that they are bound by their choices in life. It felt like it really hit to the heart for me.

This book is one I had been waiting for. Bound By Spells ends on such a note that waiting was difficult. I wanted to know how things were going to turn out for Amelia and Aidan, especially, but also for Micah, Bethany, Cole, and the rest of the mages and animages.

This was such a book of revelations. If you follow Stormy on social media, you might remember that she mentioned that we’d find out who/what Charlie and Onyx are. We do and it is perfect. The whole scene where this transpires is great. Watching Amelia’s responses to the reveal is just how I think I would have been had it been me. It’s rare that animals get to be such strong characters in their own right, and I think Stormy handled this perfectly.

Amelia had such an amazing course of growth over the series. You’d never guess by reading them out of order that the Amelia from Book 3 is the same as the one from Book 1. She’s matured beyond her years and it’s great to see her ready to take up the mantle that she was given on her own yet be smart enough to know that there are others there willing to help shoulder the burden. That’s not to say she’s completely different, she still gets a bit wrapped up with things internally, but she’s more apt to use the tools she has at her disposal. Aidan, too, has grown as a character and he really comes into his own the more he gets to interact with the others. Micah, Bethany, and Cole appeared in just the right amounts. I love the scenes that Bethany is in especially. Cole was the biggest surprise for me this book, but I can’t tell you how. I also enjoyed the introduction of a couple new characters, but to name them would be to give things away, and I won’t allow myself to do that. You’re just going to have to read it to find out.

Bound By Prophecy was everything I wanted it to be. With a great mix of action and emotion, the pacing is fantastic. You fly through it, but you don’t feel rushed. It’s because you need to know what happens next. I couldn’t put this book down, finishing it in one sitting…followed by a big book hangover.

I thought this was a great way to tie up this series. The author kept me on my toes with this book. I never knew what to expect next. I was constantly trying to figure out how things were going to play out.

I loved the romance in this book. The connection between Amelia and Aidan was just as wonderful as ever in this book. I loved watching their relationship develop even more in this book. I think they are fantastic together and they have amazing chemistry.

Amelia still annoyed me at times in this book. She is way too stubborn to a point of making me want to pull my own hair out because of it. However, she did seem more mature in this book and understanding, which I appreciated. I liked Aidan in this book, and he will always be my favorite character of this series. I enjoyed seeing him step up to the plate a little bit more than he did in the previous books. I also enjoyed seeing all of my favorite side characters from the first two books to make appearances in this book again.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book! I thought it was a great way to wrap up this fun series. I am sad that this series is over, but I seriously hope there will be a spin off series in the future!

ARC provided by the Author in exchange for an honest review.

OMG. I loved this part. But it was so hard for me to get into it. Why? not because the story was bad or the writing was horrible. It was because I had "read" previous 2 parts listening to an audiobook which is simply amazingly narrated.

But book 3...it's so hard to review it and not to put any spoilers!

This book is an awesome finale of Aidan/Amelia story. Book picks up where the second part left us and we can see that the chemistry between 2 main characters is growing and you can literally see sparks flying. They feel the pull and where Aidan is sure of his feelings towards Amelia, she herself is not so sure. She has doubts if what she feels it's HERS or if its the prophecy telling her to feel that way. But in the end when she has a choice she is making the right decision.

Aidan. Well I liked him a lot in the previous 2 parts but here? Well damn I love him! He showed his alpha self and I loved it so much! He was demanding, sure of what he wants and he was also able to growl if needed. That's what I like in my book boyfriends!

But the best surprise was Micah's POV!! Like WOW! He is a BBF that I quickly started falling for! And I hope soon Ms Smith will give us more of him!

Amazing, awesome book that deserved 5 heavenly stars! <3

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

"Bound by Prophecy" was the most magical of the books so far in this series. There were great outcomes in this installment that I enjoyed very much.

Stormy Smith has crafted characters you can fall in love with, and care for them as if they were your real life friends. Amelia's character evolved so much in "Prophecy" that she was almost a whole new person. She became stronger and more responsible. She still had her reckless tendency, but she thinks about what's best for others before herself. Aidan is the perfect book boyfriend. He's supportive, protective, loving and willing to do anything for his girl. I just loved him. I actually liked the character of Micah (Prince Mikhail). He was the ultimate pawn. He deserves happiness and I hope he finds it in a future installment. Of course, I loved Bethany! She continued to be honest with everyone she knew. Her outcome (I'm not hinting) was expected, but she deserved it.

I liked the theme of "Prophecy"--abuse of power. To paraphrase Micah's conversation: you never really have power if you take it from others. In the end, it will backfire on you.

"Bound by Prophecy" is a lovely read. I'm looking forward to reading more of this story.

Amelia Bradbury (Elder) is out from under the reigns of Queen Julia & Cresthaven.
Aidan Montgomery is kind of fallen for her.
The Keeper has his power encased in Amelia.
Can Aidan (AniMage) rescue her from the Keepers holds?

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written fantasy book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great fantasy movie, animated cartoon, or mini TV series. Not sure what age group this is geared for but I enjoyed reading it. I would have loved to have seen pictures.
A very easy rating of 5 stars.
