TULALIP — A man who died in a brush fire on the Tulalip Indian Reservation on Thursday has been identified as David S. Hagaman, 86.
Hagaman died from burns and smoke inhalation, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. His death was ruled an accident.
His body was found down a steep embankment after crews extinguished a brush fire in the Priest Point area, along Meridian Ave N.
The death remains under investigation, though police say it’s not considered suspicious. The county Fire Marshal’s office is tasked with determining the cause of the fire.
Hagaman’s age was misstated in the initial police reports.
