Not long after the world's first crisp sandwich shop opened in Northern Ireland, England is getting its own.

Mr. Crisp has opened in Yorkshire, selling 50 different flavours of crisps wedged between white or brown bread.

Customers will be able to choose from a menu which includes culinary delights such as Monster Munch covered in salad cream, Hula Hoops drenched in Galaxy chocolate spread, or even your favourite plain crisps with ketchup drizzled over the top. Prices start at just £1:

Owner Mark Pearson told the Mirror he set up the shop in Keighley to provide for locals who "like that little bit of extra crunch in their lunch."

"I have always had an idea to launch a crisp sandwich shop. When I saw the one launch in Belfast, I thought the only way I can find out if a crisp sandwich shop can succeed over here is by giving it a go myself."

"I sat on the idea for six months, working on sourcing which crisps and flavours to have and doing some market research."

Thanks to the positive reception the shop has garnered he is already looking to open two other shops by the end of the year.

Though some aren't convinced.
