2015 Pace Football Promotions Schedule Announced

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The Pace University Athletics Department has announced its 2015 Football promotional schedule. There are five home games on this year's slate, with all contests to be played at the new Pace Stadium in Pleasantville.

The Setters will open up the campaign this weekend, when they host Ave Maria University on Saturday, September 5 at 12:00 p.m. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a 2015 Pace Football Schedule magnet.

The following weekend will see Pace play host to Saint Anselm College in their first Northeast-10 tilt of the year. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. and the first 400 fans in attendance will receive a Pace mini-football. Fans will receive a voucher to redeem for the football at the conclusion of the game.

After a pair of road contests at NE-10 opponents Stonehill and Assumption on September 19, and September 26, respectively, the Setters return home on Friday, October 2 to take on Bentley University at 7:00 p.m. in the first ever night game on campus. The game will feature "Take-A-Kid to the Game" and there will be a free Youth Clinic prior to the contest. The Youth Clinic will run from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Finnerty Field. All Youth Clinic participants will receive free admission to the game. This will also be the annual "Pace Goes Pink" game, where fans will receive "Pace Goes Pink" wristbands. "Pace Goes Pink" t-shirts will also be sold with proceeds donated to the Northern Westchester Hospital Breast Institute.

Pace travels to Southern Connecticut State on October 10, before hosting LIU Post in the annual Westchester Homecoming game on Saturday, October 17 at 12:00 p.m. Various fun-filled activities will take place throughout the day for current students, families, and alumni. Two more road contests follow at Merrimack on October 24 and at the University of New Haven on October 31. The Pace football team will then wrap up the regular season on Saturday, November 7 with its final regular season home contest of the year, this one against NE-10 foe American International College at 12:00 p.m. Graduating seniors will be honored prior to the game and the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a Pace Athletics and Coca-Cola long sleeve t-shirt. Northeast-10 Championship Weekend is then slated for Saturday, November 14 at sites to be determined.
