Offer a variety of foods on this large platform to draw the greatest number of birds. This feeder has a removable, rust-resistant screen that allows for drainage and is easy to clean—whether you’re feeding seed, suet and even fruit. Our fly-through is made with 7/8 inch thick cedar with rugged wrought iron roof supports and now comes with a tan recycled plastic roof. Cedar is known for its strength and ability to resist rot, insects and other wood pests and does not warp. Mount on a 1 inch pole or 4 x 4 inch post. Pole sold separately, some assembly required. Fly-through Platform Feeder measures 23 x 16-3/4 x 14 inches tall.

I have 3 of these wonderful bird feeders. Our roof to our house is green so I painted the roofs of each feeder green to match our house. I have also hung these feeders off the edge of our deck using the Duncraft shepherded hooks. What is most fun is the battle between the birds and the squirrels. These feeder are most durable. After 10 years of use sadly the racoon was able to crash one of the feeders 15 feet to the ground. It did crash and time to get my 4th feeder.

replaced Champion to great success
Got this as a gift and then added the heavy-duty pole with twister. Using only two sections of pole this very large feeder is still stable, which was my biggest concern. Replaced a long-used Champion because this is easier to clean (I use a can of compressed air - takes 5 seconds) and will not spread disease. VERY popular with everyone from smallest goldfinch to Blue Jays.

Favorite feeder
I have bought many, many feeders in my days. This feeder is the most used and the most loved by the cardinals and blue jays in my area. Forget the fancy feeders - birds like a simple platform like this.
