Free dental work draws hundreds to Flint-area facility

MUNDY TWP, MI -- The waiting room at Gateway Dental in Mundy Township was so full Sunday morning, a line of people also waited outside to get their pearly whites worked on for free.

The site offered free dental work all weekend long, with Dr. Bobby Grossi and two other dentists volunteering to provide services including extractions, cleanings and fillings for cavities.

Past and present employees, as well as family also helped out during the event in its fourth year.

"I believe in giving back, in being a positive force in my community. I don't just want to give people better smiles, I want to give them a reason to smile," Grossi recently said. "My staff and I look forward to this event all year and are more than happy to give back to those who have given us so much."
