Cartoon Network preps to roll out ‘Long Live the Royals’

The ATL-based animated heavyweights have a seasonal miniseries on tap.

? “Regular Show” supervising producer Sean Szeles created “Long Live the Royals” as a four-night holiday event. The animated miniseries follows a modern royal family (and their fleet of pet ferret) navigating a medieval world, specifically during the Yule Hare Festival. Seasonally appropriate, for sure.
?
? Voice duties run the gamut. Gillian Jacobs lends vocals to Princess Rosalind, a royal 17-year-old tomboy with whom are apparently careful to highlight her butt. Kieran Culkin gives life to Rosalind’s brother, 16-year-old Prince Peter who experiences crushing social anxiety. Other names slated to be heard include Jon Daly, Fred Armisen, Ellie Kemper, Ken Marino, and more.
