Would you like to help us to develop a new exhibition exploring LGBT life in Edinburgh?
In 2006 the exhibition ‘Rainbow City’ was shown at the City Art Centre. We would like to revisit the exhibition 10 years on, to explore developments such as equal marriage, and how things have changed over the last decade.
We would like to invite you to visit the Museums Collection Centre on 23th Jan, 2-3.30pm to view the LGBT collections and help us to choose items for an exhibition at the People’s Story Museum.
We would also like to see any items you have at home which you think may be relevant to appear in the exhibition.
After this event from 3.30pm, if you would like to take part, there will be the opportunity to contribute to a film for the exhibition to discuss LGBT life in Edinburgh today. You do not need to stay on to participate in this if you would prefer not to.
