Best Solution to Cut Finished Composites

Perma-Grit® Jigsaw Blades are perfect for making large cuts or for cutting along flat sheets of laminate composites, like fiberglass and carbon fiber. Made from tough tungsten carbide, blades are designed to cut in both directions and file the edges of your laminate as they cut, reducing any chipping at the surface.

Tungsten carbide abrasive grit is welded to steel shafts to create Perma-Grit Jigsaw Blades. After repeated use, they have proven to maintain their edge without breakage, and cut even more aggressively than more expensive diamond materials. They don't clog easily, but can be cleaned, if necessary, with a wire brush and/or Acetone (part #9).

Jigsaws permit the highest speeds possible for making large flat cuts. Our Perma-Grit blades are designed to accommodate the most popular models:

  • #1903 3" Blade for Bosch and Makita tools
  • #1904 3" Blade for Black & Decker

PLEASE NOTE: When cutting with Perma-Grit Jigsaw Blades, we recommend cutting just shy of your intended finish cut line and using Perma-Grit Sanding Blocks (#1905–#1909) or files (#1921 or #1922) to finish your edge.

Perma-Grit Jigsaw blades for Bosch

Oct 10, 2021  |  By Steve Ralph

Smooth cutting blade, but slow. I was surprised to only get 14 linear feet of cutting in 1/16 inch carbon fiber sheet before the grit wore off the blade! Very disappointing.
