FAFSA Day - Wake Technical Community College

On Saturday, October 29, 2016 financial aid specialists and other representatives will assist students in the completion and the electronic submission of their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms. The program is open to individuals who plan to attend college in the 2017-18 academic year, and will be held at many sites across North Carolina.

Event location:  Student Services Building, Main Lobby; Parking near the Student Services Building

NOTE

1. Check the times that the site will be open
2. Your 2015 tax information will be required. Since 2015 taxes have already been filed, most students and families will be able to use the Data Retrieval Tool that will be prompted on the FAFSA
3. Make sure the student and one parent have a FSA ID required to sign the FAFSA (fsaid.ed.gov)
4. Always check the financial aid deadlines at the colleges to which you apply
