"We are looking for investors who will build new companies in Poland based on modern technologies,” said Szydło, who is on a three-day trip to the US.

“We are open for business development,” she added. “We want Polish companies to be able to invest abroad, but we also want them to be able to make use of the experience of companies carrying out their projects and plans in Poland."

Szydło said the Polish government is "very open to investors."

She added: "We are preparing specific investment projects, but were are also preparing laws to make it easier for entrepreneurs to operate on the Polish market; we are preparing tax changes which will appreciate those who want to invest in the future." (pk)
