Raúl recieves Governor of Buenos Aires

Raul y argentinaYesterday afternoon, July 22, President Raúl Castro Ruz received the Honorable Daniel Scioli, governor of the Argentine province of Buenos Aires, who is making an official visit to the country.

During the fraternal encounter, the two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the excellent state of bilateral relations between their countries, and discussed the existing potential for developing ties in the areas of cooperation and trade. They additionally addressed regional and international issues.

The distinguished guest was accompanied by Rafael Folonier, secretary of International Relations; Carlos Peralta, undersecretary for International Economic Relations; and Rafael Perelmiter, economic advisor; all officials in the Buenos Aires provincial government.

Also participating on the Cuban side were Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, a Council of Ministers vice president; Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla; and José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera, head of the Party Central Committee’s International Relations Department.
