DJI Phantom Preflight Digital Checklist

Propellers

Check silver propellers are mounted on the silver-topped rotors

Check black propellers are mounted on the black-topped rotors

Check the tightness of the propellers. Make sure they are not too loose and not too tight

Start Up

Turn on the remote controller

Turn on the aircraft

Check aircraft's self-check is OK

App

Start the DJI Go App

Check system status bar says "Safe To Fly"

Check battery level to ensure safe flight

Check internal temperature of the battery

If it's a cold day, pre-heat the battery to 20°C before the flight

Check the live HD video feed

Check HD video link signal icon has green bars

Calibrate the compass

Check spot where calibration was successful set as the take-off point

Use the Combination Stick Command (CSC) on the remote controller to start the motors

Check app says "the home point has been updated"

Check app shows green home point (H) on the map
